If you trust a physician to perform moderately aggressive laser resurfacing on your face, you should trust the information that physician provides re: postoperative recovery.  It is critically important that you have an open dialogue with your physician (and/or his staff) prior to undergoing laser resurfacing.   

With the fractionated erbium you should be looking pretty good after a few days.  (5-7).  Two passes is not an aggressive treatment - I usually do at least 4 everywhere.

aggressive settings, downtime is usually from 5-7 days, in most cases. Working
