Hi, Without achieving a full recovery, there is not accurate way to predict what your cup size will be after your surgery. It is important at this point to be patient and to wait until all swelling have resolved and a considerable level of recovery has been reached. I encourage you to keep your surgeon in the loop of your progress as he/she knows the full details of your surgery. Best of luck to you. Dr. Sajjadian
Congratulations on your surgery! The best thing to do is to let things heal and allow the swelling to dissipate. Once this is accomplished, I suggest you go for a bra fitting. Good luck.
Unfortunately, there is no way to accurately predict what cup size you will be wearing after breast augmentation/lifting with a specific breast implant size. You will need to be patient until you are able to go bra fitting/shopping. Don't be surprised if your bra cup size varies from one manufacturer to another. Best wishes.
Thank you for the photo. You are early in your post operative course. It looks like you are healing normally from the operation. The implants will typically rise up after surgery. They typically start to fall at one month. They can take 6 to 12 months to get to their appropriate posit...
Two things happen and seem paradoxical. As as the swelling goes down there will be some shrinkage but at the same time as the muscle relaxes your breast projection grows. In general the breast shape and size proportionality improves..Breast implants initially after surgery when placed in a...
I would agree with the recommendation of your surgeon and would have you wait a few months to allow for swelling to reside and to let the implants settle. After that, he/she can decide if you need to differentially fill the implants to adjust for pre-existing asymmetry. A recent...
I would not waste my money on it. You only get 4 implants sizes and that is it. You can get a pair of panty hose, sports bra, measuring cup and rice and make your own implants. You can see a description of it on my website journal. But just discuss this with the plastic surgeon you are going...
The paper you referenced with the 18% was published from 2014 and that they collected data from 10 years prior to that (meaning 2004 - when implants were also all much weaker versus now). Implants have evolved a lot and mistakes from their past learned resulting in products / materials more...
Patients often think in terms of cup size when considering augmentation. Unfortunately, devices are sized in terms of milliliters (cc) of volume. This can lead to some confusion when sizing. Additionally, it is important to remember that cup size itself is not standardized with variations from...
