Is it safe to use a washcloth after a VI Peel?

Question

My esthitician said I can slough my skin in the shower with a wash cloth. This does take some of the peeled skin with it. I am wondering if this is advisable.

thank you for your question. It is best to use your finger tips to clean the skin very gently. a wash cloth might pull the skin off before it is ready. always remember to be gentle with the peeling area and use warm or cold water.

Hi. It is ok to use a washcloth as you heal from your Vi Peel as long as you are very gentle and do not scrub the skin. However, the safest option would be to use a sensitive skin cleanser and your hands with a gentle pressure in a circular motion to softly remove the dead skin. Good luck with the peel!

It is important to be very gentle with your skin post peel. If you uses a washcloth do not scrub your skin. I would advise against this until most of the skin has peeled. Consult with your provider along your peel process to ensure the best results.
