25 year old, 2 years post facelift - is it normal to have such a big ugly scar after a facelift? (Photos)

Question

I thought the scars would be unnoticeable. My surgeon said it was normal and because of my skin type but I don't believe it. Also, there is soggy skin that makes my face look disfigured. extra skin on my temples that makes me have "Asian looking" eyes when it wasn't the case before. I'm confused. Did he do a bad job? I asked for retouch but he said he did nothing wrong and I would have to pay $18.000 for it which was the price I paid

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Keloids, hypertrophic scars, widened scars, red scars, and hyperpigmented scars all require scar modulation with topical creams followed by lasers and RF therapy. Topical skincare should be directed to a specific need, whether for pigmentation or hypertrophy and our office can guide you through the process to obtain the correct Plato’s Scar cream or Melarase cream for hypertrophy and discoloration. In terms of lasers, we would employ the vbeam laser for redness, Venus Viva RF, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and Morpheus 8, fractional erbium, or fractional co2. All of these have their individual benefits. Most of all, we recommend you visit a solid plastic surgeon who understands surgical scar revision, laser therapy, and RF therapy for scars.

The scars along the temple could be improved with a revision. I think having a facelift at 25 is a bad idea. So other than the scar revisions, don’t have anything else done

Dearest. First, I do not understand why you underwent a facelift at so early age. Second, no your incisions are not good enough, and I can make a revision to improve their look. They are to wide and too out of the hair line.
But nothing that can not be improve.
