Have you seen this redness/itchiness around nostrils after rhinoplasty? (Photos)

Question

It’s been 2.5 post open rhinoplasty and about a week ago my nostrils & columella started developing redness, itchiness and irritated. I saw my surgeon 3 days ago and he prescribed me clindamycin antibiotic along with triamcinolone cream. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen or experienced this post rhinoplasty? Is this an allergy? Could this be an infection? I’m highly concerned and worried that this will effect my overall results...  Thankyou

I think you're already doing the most important thing which is following up with your surgeon to express your concerns and the treatment sounds appropriate based on the photos.  If you were using a topical ointment inside the nose after surgery such as triple antibiotic ointment, neosporin, etc - then it may have caused you to develop a mild skin reaction.  
The best person to manage this problem though is your surgeon and make sure you followup appropriately so that this issue can be managed properly, best of luck!

Looks more like a contact dermatitis. Did your surgeon use tape there? Did you use frequent hydrogen peroxide cleaning? Anything else touch your nose in this location?
I suspect the steroids will help. Give it time to heal.
