Im insecure about chin recession and always put my jaw forward for pictures to make up for it. I just want to have a normal sized chin would radiesse or other types of fillers work for me?
Answer: Non-Surgical Chin Augmentation with Injectable Fillers -- Radiesse, Sculptra, Surgical Implants, See an Expert "A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease. Implants are still a great option once you are 100% positive that you are ready for a permanent enhancement. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Chin augmentation Fillers are a good option for chin augmentation. Not only Radiesse, but Voluma, Sculptra or Juvederm could be used. The fillers have the upside of not requiring surgery and you would have a immediate result. However, they eventually would go away and the chin projection would return to your baseline. In my opinion, a chin implant or a genioplasty would be better options. These techniques are safe and would provide you with a permanent natural result. In addition, it would also be more cost effective for you.Best of luck

Answer: I'm a 19 year old male with weak chin. Will a filler such as Radiesse work on me? Yes, either Radiesse of Voluma can be used for chin augmentation. However, the results will last somewhere around a year. This is a good option for people who want to try out the look without committing to surgery. However, after two treatments the cost of the filler route begins to exceed the permanent implant solution. In experienced hands, chin implant procedures are safe and create very pleasing, permanent results. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Fillers Can Be a Great Options to Augment The Chin In reviewing your pictures, the chin is weak on the profile. A proportional chin can improve facial balance and proportion from the profile and frontal view. Patients have 2 options to enlarge the chin. Option 1- Chin Augmentation Surgery The chin can be effectively and easily augmented with a chin implant surgery. The surgery is quick and can be completed while the patient is awake. The recovery is rather quick. Option 2- Non-Surgical Chin Augmentation The chin can be effectively augmented using non-surgical techniques by injections with facial fillers. Any type of filler can be used including Perlane, Juvederm, Restylane, and Radiasse. The results are immediate but temporary. This would have to be repeated. Overtime this will be more expensive than a chin implant. For patients that do not want to undergo surgery, this is a great option. I hope this helps

Answer: Consider implant! Hello! While radiesse will likely improve your profile, it usually ends up costing about the same as a permanent implant. Implants can be removed if desired but this is uncommon. A consultation can help you on your options, and photo morphing will help you see the potential results. Good luck!
