13 year old stretch marks; will I still have the stretch marks above and under belly button after Tummy Tuck?

    There has to be enough skin from the breast bone down to the beginning of the stretch marks to cover the entire vertical distance down to the mons. Many women do not have enough loose skin to do this, so some stretch marks just above and lateral will not come out. They can be treated after surgery with Lux 1540 erbium laser, and that will improve but not get rid of them.     Just looking at the picture submitted, I would never anticipate that all the stretch marks would be removed as they extend quite a way above the belly button.  In this patient from the front view, you can see how high the stretch marks go.  It looks like the upper line of skin removal could be 3-4 inches above the belly button, and it is amazing how much further the upper skin will go down, when the muscle is tightened and it is almost a straight line form breast bone to pubis. In this case that would help a lot but would be insufficient to get all the stretch marks out.
