I want to try PRP for hairloss. Female aged 33. I have talked to different clinics and some use injection to put PRP into scalp and others use Dermastamp. Which is more effective? What questions should I ask when enquiring about PRP and what is best amount of treatments and time in between? One clinic does 6 treatment package spaced 1 month apart and another does 3 treatment package space 3 months apart.
If I apply minoxidil 5% every night, get prp with the initial treatments of 3 for the first three months and maintenance treatments every 6 months with a laser light cap (irestore) 3x a week and once a week ketoconazole shampoo which I apply for 10 minutes before washing off once a week can I expect to maintain my hair for the next 10-15 years? I do not like the idea of taking finasteride
Hi, I'm in my early 30's and are starting to loosing hair (runs in my genes). I want to use a hair transplat as a last option/solution and are considering gettting 4-5 PRP treatments with 1-1,5 month in between and an yearly follow up. No finasteride. 29 old male and notice my hair is starting to thin. My father not bald and neither is grandfather on both sides. I do have 1 uncle on my moms side who is bald. The other 2 brothers have hair. One perfect and the other Norwood 3/4. All 3 aged 70-75. I notice my hair is resembling my fathers. He is 65 and Norwood 2/3 with reduced density vs recession. He does have less density on the crown. I have been diagnosed by a hair specialist as Norwood 2 with mpb. Can prp and minox alone improve/maintain?

I read online that PRP gives best results when combined with rogaine, but I don't want to use rogaine forever, so, my question is: can I use rogaine for 6 months only along with PRP, then stop rogaine and continue with PRP maintainance sessions only? or using rogaine is useless in this case? please advise. thank you
This is my scalp under microscope at home, I noticed these black dots that they or may not have been there. I have been taking Dustasteride orally and 10% minoxidil topically for 3 weeks. I am a 31 year male, and have had male pattern baldness for a decade. I've been taking Finastride & Rogaine for 7 yrs and did my first FUT in September. In December, I started the Keto diet and lost around 10 pounds. I noticed that my hair has suddenly got a lot thinner in the past few weeks. I had never experienced anything like this before. Given that hair thinning is a common side effect of Keto, would a PRP procedure be effective in reversing the hair thinning if I stop this diet immediately?
