Woman treated with Revision Rhinoplasty

We performed revision rhinoplasty to produce a more desirable shape,and this also significantly improved her nasal breathing. She felt that the external portion nostril was too big and the bottom edge of this tissue was too flat relative to the other side. If you look at the post-operative photos, youll notice that the curved contour of the bottom edge of the nostril on the right more closely matches the untreated left side.

Dr. Holden performed a revision of this woman's rhinoplasty. He removed the hump, rotated it slightly and built support for the tip.

We checked in with this patient at her 6 month Post-Op appointment -- here's how she's doing now at 1 year.Revision Rhinoplasty is a surgery is used to repair undesirable effects from a previous nose job, most often with another physician. Not all plastic surgery procedures provide the results you desire, whether because the surgeon is inexperienced or unforeseen complications may arise. Revision rhinoplasty works to correct these undesired effects as much as possible, sometimes by grafting ear or rib cartilage if there isnt enough septal cartilage present to support the nasal structure.
