Foundation rhinoplasty is a method that was originally designed for patients with nasal deviation due to facial asymmetry (where the two sides are different). It allows for straightening of the external and internal nose without requiring significant nasal restructuring through an open Rhinoplasty approach. It is also used in cases where both deviation correction and cosmetic improvements are desired. The straight and even foundation that is created allows for more predictability in the final cosmetic result.
