This is a 55 year old female presenting with signs of facial ageing. She has face and neck skin laxity and droop, early jowling, facial wrinkles, upper eyelid skin laxity or dermatochalasis, brow ptosis and ear lobe enlargement. She underwent a facelift, necklift, blepharoplasty upper/lower eyelids, brow lift, ear lobe reduction and perioral CO2 laser. Before and 8 week post op result.Recovery from a facelift varies depending on the type of procedure, individual healing, and post-operative care. Heres a general timeline:First Week:	Days 1-2: Swelling, bruising, and discomfort are most intense. Pain medication may be needed. A compression bandage is usually worn.	Days 3-7: Bruising and swelling peak around days 3-4 and then begin to subside. Stitches may be removed around day 5-7. Light activities can resume.Week 2:	Swelling and bruising improve significantly.	Numbness, tightness, and mild discomfort persist.	Many people feel comfortable going out in public with makeup.Weeks 3-4:	Most visible swelling and bruising have faded.	Patients can resume moderate exercise.	Incision lines begin to soften but are still noticeable.Months 2-3:	Results look more natural as swelling resolves.	Numbness and tightness continue to improve.	Scars start fading but may take up to a year to fully mature.Full Recovery:	Most patients see their final results around 3-6 months post-surgery.	Protecting skin from the sun and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can enhance results.
