Bilateral Upper Lid Ptosis Repair

This patient underwent functional upper blepharoplasty.  If patient has excess laxity of upper eyelid skin, the hooding of the eyelid skin can begin to obstruct visual field.  Patient will go through a special visual field test to confirm that the visual field obstruction is indeed due to skin laxity.  If it is confirmed that blepharoplasty will improve the visual field test, then it is considered medical-necessity procedure and will be covered by insurance.
