53 year old Female 9 months post op from Bilateral Breast Implant Removal (Explant) with Total Capsulectomy and Anchor Pattern Breast Lift (Mastopexy). She had 325cc smooth silicone implants placed above the muscle (Subglandular) for 25 years. She felt like they were tool large for her frame, had stretched out her breast tissue and were heavy on her shoulders and neck. She was a D cup with the implants in place and now wears a small B/full A cup. She is 52 and weighs 129 lbs. She feels free without her implants, her neck and shoulder pain have resolved and she is more comfortable in clothing.

Youthful Bust Line. Breast Lifts are performed on patients who have lost volume in their breasts due to pregnancy, weight change, age, or loss of firmness. Here our patient added an implant to her breast lift to give added volume.

This patient is shown 3 days post-op after undergoing reduction mammaplasty. She initially requested implants as well, however, due to her degree of droopiness, we recommended a two-stage procedure to minimize the risk of nipple-areola necrosis. 321 grams were removed from her right breast. 329 grams were removed from her left breast.
