This woman had gel implants put in over 20 years ago. Five years ago she noted her implants were too large, but she did not have a procedure done. In 2016 she came in with severe pain on the right and a bilateral capsular contracture. Her implants were removed and replaced with smaller subpectoral Mentor smooth round moderate profile cohesive gels. She had grade II ptosis pre-operatively. By using smaller implants, her skin and soft tissue would droop even more. She requested a scarless lift for purposes of risk reduction, less down time, and a better long term cosmetic appearance.
