This 35 year-old mother of three was left with smaller, deflated breasts after breast feeding and pregnancy. She underwent a bilateral breast augmentation utilizing 350 cc silicone gel implants placed through an inframammary incision into the submuscular space. These implants corrected her “upper pole hollowing” and also provided a small uplift. The right breast was, however, more droopy preoperatively as compared to the left. Dr. Davidson therefore performed an uplift only on the right breast. This uplift made an incision around the areola. The advantage of this approach was that the patient retained her nipple sensation and ability to breast feed in the future.
