This procedure involves incisions around the ears and under the chin. The skin is lifted from the underlying fat at which point the fat is sculpted into a more youthful shape. The deep "muscle" layers are then released and elevated in an upward direction. The neck muscle is tightened (plastysmaplasty). Finally, excess skin is removed in a more backward direction maintaining normal hairline position as well as keeping neck skin on the neck (as opposed to moving it up onto the face where it doesn't look right). Also, the creases between the eyebrows were repaired with Restylane. Dysport is used to prevent the creases from returning.
