This 21 year old young man had gynecomastia since his early teen years. He had been overweight as a teen, but after losing over 45 lbs., he still retained excess breast tissue. His gynecomastia consisted of some fibrous tissue, but mostly fatty breast tissue. In these patients, I prefer to do liposuction instead of glandular excision since liposuction leaves a smaller scar and a more even contour. Many patients with glandular excision end up with a sunken in appearance to the nipple area. His results are shown 3 months after combined ultrasonic and vacuum assisted liposuction showing a marked improvement in the chest contour. Individual Results May Vary
