This 43 year-old woman felt she had a "large" nose and wanted her prominent dorsal hump removed. Dr. Tholen also noted she had a mild retrusive or "weak" chin that contributed to the impression of nasal over-projection. A conservative augmentation genioplasty (chin implant) and cosmetic open rhinoplasty restored facial harmony and balance in a 2-hour outpatient office surgical facility operation.
