Circumaereolar Breast Lift with Augmentation

This beautiful women only had one problem, severely drooping small breasts after pregnancy.
A breast augmentation with 350 cc moderate plus profile saline implants filled to 375 were used. A circumareolar breast lift was also performed. Combining these procedures is one of the most technically challenging procedures done so experience in the Plastic Surgeon is a must. (Sometimes the procedures are seperated starting with the breast augmentation and then the breast lift about 3 months later.)
The circumareolar technique hides the repairs around the areolar boarder by removing skin around the areola, undermining the skin, and then advancing the skin in a purse string fashion. There is sometimes a lightening of the areola as in this case, from the stretching effect of the procedure.
