This patient had a tarsal fixation technique upper lid surgery. With this surgery there is absolutely no detectable sign of having had surgery. The scar is totally invisible, even with the eyes closed, and the result is essentially permanent. This patient's appearance was further improved by having enhancement of his cheekbones.

The cheekbone enhancement was permanent by using coral (hydroxyapatite) bone augmentation and not not temporary using fillers that require to be repeated over time and have a tendency to look puffy.
