This 48 year old woman is 5' 9 and 160 pounds. She has had one child via C-section. She had pre-eclampsia during her pregnancy and gained a significant amount of weight. This woman in her late thirties working towards her goal weight came to discuss her body contouring options with Dr. Howell.  She decided on a tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks and breast symmetry surgery but needed to be closer to her goal weight before surgery. After surpassing her goal weight, they proceeded with surgery.  A left breast lift and right breast reduction worked to balance her breast size and shape.  Looking great, she is pictured before and four months afterwards.

This patient was in her late 40s and wanted to improve the appearance of her abdomen.  She had had previous abdominal surgery through a vertical abdominal incision and was unhappy with the appearance of the abdomen and the flanks.  Because of her contour as well as the previous vertical abdominal incision, we chose to proceed with a fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty with liposuction of the flanks, which means that in addition to the low horizontal scar she also had the vertical scar.  For her, it improved the appearance of the vertical scar that she previously had and also helped with her overall shape and contour.  She is shown before and 4 years after her surgery, which was performed by Dr. Hampton Howell.
