This 60 year old patient had both breasts removed for the treatment of breast cancer. The before image shows a bandage at the site of a biopsy, where a tissue sample was taken to confirm her cancer diagnosis. While all the underlying breast tissue was removed, her breast skin and nipples were preserved. I reconstructed her breasts using the same implants that are used during breast augmentation surgery. At the request of the patient I have up-sized her breasts during the reconstruction.
