I am 56 yrs old and had a TT, BR, with Lipo to Flanks, and inner and outer thigh areas the first week of May 2016. I will be 5 weeks post Tuesday June 7th. I have had an excessive amount of hair loss, and when I say excessive I mean handfuls after I brush it and shower especially. I have very thick hair or at least I use to, until this surgery. Is this a common, or should I be concerned?
I am 7 wks post-op from a mommy makeover. I have a seroma below my TT scar that my surgeon & his nurse have tried to aspirate on 5 occasions over the last 4 wks. They are unable to get anything out. They seem baffled by it, but keep reassuring me that my body will take care of it on its own. I dont feel comfortable continuing to wait for this to be resolved. Ive read this can cause issues if untreated. Also, it is creating new stretch marks, which ticks me off. Should I be worried?
I am 21 and am healing well. I am off all pain Meds and only occasionally take some Tylenol here and there for mild pain. My surgeon did tell me I was allowed to ride a bike when I was in the office two days ago. I have a small open wound on my tummy tuck incision and one under my breast. Other than that, I feel good and feel that light or oral sex wouldnt hurt me. Some suggestions and reassurance would be appreciated!
Im 5 weeks PO with a mommy makeover. I went with Mentor 350cc smooth mod plus. I feel like with my wide chest, I couldve gone with 450cc or higher. I wanted more cleavage &closer cleavage and Im discouraged I wont get what I wanted. Will I still D &F? My PS lowered my fold and cut the center muscles to try to get them closer (I think thats what she told me, if that makes sense) Im happy, especially after breastfeeding kids. Any suggestions for a revision next year?
Does this look infected to you? My doctor says that it's just a blister that isn't healing. I don't have a fever. It doesn't hurt to touch it. But there is yellowish discharge for about 2 1/2 weeks now. I apply lots of Neosporin twice a day and no changes. Is it just from my corset rubbing or should I see another doctor about it? If it's just a blister, any ideas on how to help it to heal? All I've been told is to move around less, but that's not really possible for me. I'm 4 weeks po.
When the pins & needles & burning started, PS ordered massage, heat, Advil. I had a friend over massaging my stomach, sides, and back for more than an hour twice a day so it was bearable. He left yesterday & today the pain is already unbearable again & I barely got any sleep. I massaged myself 3x to exhaustion (sore arms, shortness of breath) and nerve pain is still VERY intense. Taking Advil, B complex, doing heat. What else can I do?
Forcing myself to eat, waves of mild nausea, no vomiting, frequent loose stools occurring about 10 minutes after I eat anything, feel cold constantly, not taking any medications, 7lb weight loss since surgery, I am petite and don't need to loose any weight, is this a complication of TT My surgery was Feb 2nd 2017
I had a Mommy makeover including tummy tuck and lipo of flanks. I am still swollen as expected, however, my belly is firm and my hips are jiggly. My measurements have barely changed from pre surgery and I'm feeling discouraged. Any words of encouragement? Is jiggle normal in swollen areas?
