I got a VI Peel about 2 weeks ago and it left dark marks around my laugh lines that were not there before. I dont see any improvement on my skin, and now I feel even more self conscious as I feel the peel made it worse. I went back to the doc today and she gave me a light peel, but I see no difference. I dont want to get another peel because the down time is too long. Should I get microneedling in 2 weeks? I just want these scars from the peel gone and my face back to normal.
I've done microneedling twice now, and both times I've woken up the next day with a face full of whiteheads. However, it's been two weeks since my last microneedling and I am still waking up with 10+ new zits each day. I did have 2 active pimples that she didn't avoid with the needle. I'm at a loss because I don't possibly know how microneedling can be effective when it is causing so many breakouts. I can't go on acne medication for certain reasons. When will I stop breaking out?
Hello, I had superficial acne scars, I went for microneedling which seemed awesome at the begging my skin was peeling mildly, but after 5 days the peeling increased and went from mild to moderate and I started having dark patches of pigmentation around my mouth ( 1 shade darker) . I noticed that peeling exacerbated after walking in the sun for 20 mins. Now I am 2 weeks ++ past microneedling and my skin is still peeling. Is this normal ?!? I am really concerned !
