Got bullhorn lip lift done. Everything is fine except for 1. the shape of the nostril has been changed, 2. White material came off the scar leaving pinhead sized hole (now yellow fluid filled) and ant bite like pain, 3. a part of suture was left n removed on 2nd week by myself leaving slightly raised portion on the scar. Will it even out? Will the nostril outgrow the cleft like appearance? Why the antbite like pain in the pinhole sized area?
Hello, I got a lip lift almost 3 weeks ago. I am still a bit swollen and my upper lip feels stiff/numb. I realise this is fairly normal, but also suspect I am healing slightly slower than average. I am still trying to limit the movements of my mouth when talking/eating/smiling and still follow a soft food diet to avoid chewing. I'm wondering how much longer should I keep following these precautions? I'm conscious that I have some internal sutures which need to heal.
I feel like my philtrum and upper lip are still swollen and tense . 3 weeks post.the center looks very high and blown up like I have overly injected lip and bunny teeth. Will my lip flatten and drop a few mm? Has too much skin been removed? I also dont like the way my scar looks on the right underneath my nose and on the left on the side of the nose. What can be done to smooth out the scar and reduce the swelling. Im taking vitamin a, c and applying mederma.
