I had a bullhorn lip lift done 9 days ago. Now that the swelling has disappeared, I find my upper lift far less lifted than I thought. I love it, though, but I'm worried that it will gradually drop more. In case I have to undergo lip lift surgery again, what are the different types of fixation, and what their pros and cons ?
I just had an upper lip lift using the Bullhorn method 11 days ago, and am wondering if it will be safe to get injectible lip fillers in a month? Is this enough time for the lip lift to heal? I loved the way the swelling looked in my lips and over time am feeling less confident as my lips continue to de-swell and get thinner. What is the earliest time this could be done? If possible, is even three weeks too early? Please let me know!! (Thank you!)
I had a lip lift surgery done a week and a half ago. I had some sort of infection at the site of the incision and got on both oral and topic antibiotics for five days. I got my stitches removed and there are two noticeable holes on each side of the columella, not too big, less than a millimeter, left. I was wondering if there is a way to get them to close/disappear?
I had a lip lift 11 days ago & was applying neosporin to the incision post op multiple times a day. I seem to have had an allergic reaction as the skin around the incision is red & irritated, even though I stopped using it 5 days ago. My PS swapped me to vaseline & gave me steroid cream apply before bed which I have used for 3 nights. Im also taking an oral antihistamine. How long will this take to go down? I worried that my healing is being impacted by this, or that it's something worse.
Hi i had a lip lift 9 days ago, I was wondering about the technique to achieve what I'm after. Is there a way of showing more red lip buy still shortening the philtrum slightly without creating more tooth show? I like my look but would like a little more red lip and definitly a few mm shorter philtrum. I feel for me I have too much tooth show at the moment and hope of the lip will drop a few mm but that is a double edge sword since I want the philtrum to remain short. What options are there?
Left is ideal, right is me. Left picture has more even volume on around the mouth area. I also have a different chin? Should it be shortened or moved foreword? Could the position of my teeth resolve this problem? As most of my teeth move backwards now. What procedures would you suggest to make me loook as close to my ideal picture? Could maxillofacial surgery be an option? What can do to make my mouth look more like hers? Sorry the pic isn't completey frontal but I hope you can get an idea
I had a lip lift 9 days ago and moments after the surgery I looked at the mirror and was so happy with the result of my liplift, but now 9 days later i noticed that my lip drops down more and more day by day... is this normal, till when will my lip drop down and is it true that the upper lip can rise after 2/3 months...please give me a clear answer.. I am so upset...
In my first lip lift the doctor used external sutures-scar healed beautifully at first but I had some tension scarring that occurred later Ironically the second lip lift was also supposed to be a scar excision from first lip lift. The first 3-4 days the incision looked fine then one side opened up and next day the other side in same spot. The center incision healed fine. The dr assistant keeps saying this is normal but it wasn't normal in my first lip lift. Thank you for any help or advice!
I'm 9 days out from a corner lip lift and the lower part of my face is extremely swollen. It looks like I have huge jowls and the swollen areas feel hard. Could this be permanent scar tissue formation? I'm scared I'll look like a freak forever. Is there anything I can do to make this go away?
