Hi!I got juvederm lip filler 2+ years ago and went to a reputable plastic surgeon. surgeon. He made a bunch of injections along my vermillion border as his technique. Once the swelling went down a few days later, I noticed this one little bump/blister that has since not gone away. It looks terrible, especially with lipstick on. I went back to him and he said to see if it goes away on its own.Its been years, will it really resolve on its own or do I need it dissolved/is it scar tissue? Thanks!
I've had 3 treatments of 1 mL of Juvderm Ultra Plus within 5 years, and haven't gotten any in 2 years. I have this uneven keyhole in the middle of my lip, and a big lump at the bottom. What caused this and how can I fix it?
I had Juverderm Plus injected into my upper and bottom lips in August/November 2014. I don't know the exact amount. Just know that I used 1 complete syringe, and then almost a compete 2nd syringe. The injector placed too much in my top lip. Over 2 years later, the filler has barely dissolved much. How much longer before it's gone? I thought it would've been completely dissolved by a year. I'm scared to use the treatment to dissolve it, but it won't go away! Some days it's puffier than others.
I've had Juvederm put in my upper lip over two years ago in Sept '10, and in my tear troughs in Feb '11, AND ITS STILL THERE. And, it looks exactly the same. I asked the doctor about it, and he said It will evenutally go away. A second dr. confirmed this. I'm thrilled that it is lasting, but I would like some validation of my feeling that it might be here to stay. Has there ever been a documented case of permanence? What is the world's record to date of how long it's been seen to last?
