I had a Halo Laser treatment 3 weeks ago by a Medical Esthetician in Vancouver BC. During the treatment she passed through my smile lines 4 times each side because my goal is to get rid of deep smile lines. 3 weeks after treatment, I now have a dark brown line running down both side of my smile lines. My ethnicity is Korean-Vietnamese. Can a Doctor please explain to me why this is happening? what is it? And how do i get rid of it? Please help...I hope it's not permanent!
I am planning to have my Halo treatment this month. I am worried about how the treatment would end up on my face and if leaves any permanent scars on my face. I have gone through few sources online which says about having hyper-pigmentation after the laser treatments. Is it true? Another point to be considered is, I am an Asian girl from India and have a complexion of 5 on scale of 1-10. Would this affect in the healing time?
Hello, I am a 43 years old Asian. I recently have halo done. I didnt see my sun spots removed nor pores being shrunk which I wanted to see the result. But the complexion of the skin was brighter. Then my esthetician asked me to apply melanin, and my face started breaking out with rashes. They look more like chicken pox with liquid filled head. They itchy and burn. I also see few scratch marks on my chin and lower cheeks. What did go wrong? My bf said I looked bad.
Today is Day 6 after my 2nd Halo. I had my 1st Halo 3months prior at settings of 1470: 350,20 and 2940: 50,20 at 340kj. We did not see any significant results, so this time it was set to: 1470: 400, 40 and 2940: 20, 20 at 870kj!? I am concerned about hyperpigmentation for my Asian skin as they also seemed to be but they turned it WAAY up!? My face is also significantly more painful, like a horrible sun-burn sensation still to this day, after >90% MENDS have all sloughed off. Did they mess up?
