Highly recommend Dr. Klein - SO happy with my results

I had the best experience with Dr. Klein at Northside Plastic Surgery. Before I continue, l should add that the ENTIRE staff is wonderful and supportive. I had silicone breast implants that were concerning me. It had been 11 years since they were implanted and I had various health issues that I thought could possibly be coming from my implants. I went to Dr. Klein and an ultrasound showed my...

Clean incisions & revisions 485cc to 770cc moderate, full, gummy silicone

Dr. Klein has such an adorable personality and is not intimidating whatsoever. Two days ago Dr Klein performed my breast augmentation. One year ago he performed breast augmentation for me with 485cc moderate gummy. I decided I wanted to go larger so two days ago I got 770cc Naturelle moderate full gummy implants. He did an excellent job! In Texas back in 2008 I had my natural large breast...

It’s been about a week and I love love my results

I first went to Dr. Mike because I’ve tried many laser treatments for my acne scars, Fraxel, profractional laser , Halo , micro needling . I read up on Bellafill and decided to try it for my cheek scars! I was and I’m still pleased with my results . I only wish I could afford more for volume in my cheeks . I inquired about a cheaper route for the volume and he suggested restalyn . I...

Happy with Fillers - My face has filled back out in a very natural way

Dr. Mike has done a beautiful job with my Sculptra! My face has filled back out in a very natural way. I had issues with Voluma and am really glad I found NPS. I’ve also been happy with undereye filler.

Q: Can CO2 laser resurfacing be repeated? If so, how often.
Answered by Dr. MajmundarJune 10, 2019

A: It really depends on the type of CO2 laser you had.  If it was a fractionated CO2 laser, which is the most common, then you could do it as soon as another 4-6 months.  If it was a fully ablative CO2 laser, one year is the minimum you should wait but it would be unlikely that you would need another fully ablative treatment this soon.

Q: I am 36 years old and have noticeable sagging skin / turkey neck. What is the best treatment for this?
Answered by Dr. MajmundarJune 10, 2019

A: Sagging neck skin at 36 is pretty unusual.  Generally, this is associated with weight loss or volume loss in the face.  Premature aging can occur as well and is usually genetic.

Options include ultherapy which is a great skin tightening modality or a mini necklift.  Regardless of the tightening technique, if adequate volume isn't present in the face or midface, the tightening procedure won't give the expected result.  I would visit a facial specialist in your area and see what procedure or combination of procedures is needed to give you the best result.

Q: How many syringes of filler is needed in the temple area?
Answered by Dr. MajmundarJune 10, 2019

A: The amount of filler needed in temples varies by the person, age, volume loss, and even gender.  On average, most individuals need 1 syringe in each temple but we've treated individuals who need up to 3 in each temple (not uncommon).  Radiesse definitely gives you more volume than Voluma and would be less expensive.   The best bang for the buck in temples is Sculptra.  Usually, 1-3 vials is needed for both temples.  It usually lasts longer than Radiesse.  Bellafill has a 5 year indication but can take 2-4 syringes to fill both temples.

Q: Can Restylane Defyne be a better option to restore cheek volume than Voluma?
Answered by Dr. KleinFebruary 15, 2019

A: While Voluma is an excellent filler for the cheek/malar region, many other fillers can be used effectively.    Restylane Lyft works well in this area, and Restylane Defyne can also be used effectively here.      I would certainly offer it, particular based on your desires.

Q: What is the Best Laser for Skin Tightening?
Answered by Dr. MajmundarFebruary 1, 2019

A: There are several on the market and they achieve different types of skin tightening.  If you have a heavier face and neck, usually ultherapy is a better option to tighten and lift tissue.  If you have a thin face with thin skin, fractionated CO2 laser does a great job of increasing collagen production, improving lines and wrinkles and improving brown spots.  If brown spots are not an issue or if you tan easily, RF microneedling, such as with the Infini Genius, is a great device to achieve skin tightening.  Seeing the facial specialist in your area can really help determine your skin and face type and recommend the best laser for you.
