I am considering an under eye skin pinch. My concern is that removing even a conservative amount of skin could result in the eye appearing smaller or a different shape. I understand the risks of the eyelid pulling down, but aside from that risk, can a successful under eye pinch give the illusion of a change to the eye shape or size?
Possible ptosis? Can anything be done? Thanks. Both of my eyes are different sizes and shapes. The right is bigger/more 'opened' while the left eye is smaller and slopes downward toward the outer corners. Also my eyelids aren't rounded. Following the slant of my upper lid, it curves up from my inner eye, then remains straight until it reaches the outer corner. My parents and siblings eyes do not look like this at all. I also have excess upper lid exposure, causing me to look quite tired and make my eyes look smaller than normal often.
I had muellerctomy by an occularplastic doctor to repair a mild ptosis in my left eye. After the surgery, I noticed the eye had a diagonal shape to it which does not match the natural shape of my right eye. I am now two days post procedure and despite minimal swelling and bruising, I still notice a diagonal/slanted shape. It appears as though the inner area of my eyelid still has ptosis. Will the shape even out once the posterior sutures are removed resulting in a more symmetrical look?
My eyelids is sometimes too big, or too small. Sometimes the other one is big and the other one is small. But now it's slant. And it does not want to go back to my real eyelid and its already been two months and it wont go back. What should i do? (Im double eyelid)
