Ear Doctor said it was hematoma. Had Surgery in 2017...it's back! So Painful and think it's the cause of my headaches? Don't think it's a hematoma. Ear doctor said I would love my ear more after surgery, well it's back and worse than ever. Please help
I got my ear surgery 5 days ago. Two days ago I got my big bandage off. After I got my bandage off and replaced it with elastic headband, I noticed on both ears some fluid under the skin, like two small bags. It's not painful but I can definitely feel something underneath. I sent these images to my surgeon and he told me it's nothing to worry about and if they don't go away in 7 days come and see him. But from what I understand, if it's hematoma, 7 days is a long time to wait, right?
What is the worst that can happen? I know ears can be knocked out of place and cause hematomas but what is different from someone who hasn't had otoplasty C's someone who has had otoplasty? Is there more complications?
2.3 weeks post op otoplasty Excellent aesthetic result but Im concerned my swelling upper part of ear hasnt settled. Looks like hematoma? Same swelling from the start but I thought would have settled by now Still very tender and itchy. Thank you
I was having an auricle hematoma and my dr used the button technique to apply good compression on the ear But now three day post operation and i still have pain and the antihilix is swelling. Do i got Perichondritis? Thanks
I got otoplasty done 9 days ago, and the antihelix is really swollen, more so than the helix, so I'm not able to see the helix behind the ear. I feel I might have hematoma on the left ear, am I right?
i had an otoplasty surgery and it went bad with a hematoma on both my ears , i went to doctor and he drained the blood now i'm home and i am wondering what risks i may be under especially when i stil can see little blue marks on my ears under he [RS bleep] i also need to know what to do to avoid such risks :)
Hi! How bad is it to get a hematoma after an otoplasty? Does it have to be drained immediately? I have read that there is a risk of fibrosis. What is your opinion? My surgery told me to come back after 10-14 days after this picture (picture was taken 15/11, surgery was 11/11). Is it too late? The technique he used was Stenströms. Best regards Peter
