I got my ear surgery 5 days ago. Two days ago I got my big bandage off. After I got my bandage off and replaced it with elastic headband, I noticed on both ears some fluid under the skin, like two small bags. It's not painful but I can definitely feel something underneath. I sent these images to my surgeon and he told me it's nothing to worry about and if they don't go away in 7 days come and see him. But from what I understand, if it's hematoma, 7 days is a long time to wait, right?

Taking all precautions for a good result is important for recovery. It sounds like you are very aware of this. Continue being very careful, and follow up with your surgeon on a routine basis.
Hello, Thank you for your question and provided information. There are procedures to correct this and gain additional height and enlargement of the ears. However, if you have small ears and are low set, a conventional otoplasty procedure will most probably not fix the problem.Best Regards,
During an otoplasty, the desired position of the ears is always over corrected, The reason of this is because with time they move a little outward again to settle in their final place. Don't worry on how they look now, give them some time, trust your doctor.
