Hi everyone! I am 31 years old with two little ones- breastfed both. I've never been very large chested, but I've always loved my shape. They were a small, perky B. However, anyone that has breastfed knows, that changes! I'm still a B (I think?), but small and no upper fullness. When wearing a B size bra, I have a large gap at the top. I loved how they were when I was pregnant and nursing-a full C. I I'm scheduled for Friday to have the Ideal Saline Implants placed. I'm hoping for a very natural look-one that you wouldn't know if I had gotten implants. Also, no one knows about this except my husband and parents, so I want to still look within porportion to my body. I'd like to keep it just between us if at all possible! :) There aren't a lot of reviews on the Ideal implant, so I thought I would put my experience out there. Right now, I'm looking to go with 280 to 300 cc's. Updated on 5 May 2016: I'm so thankful for this site and hearing about everyone's experiences. It is nice to have a place to share this since it is something I'm keeping quiet! Updated on 5 May 2016: I've been too busy to be really nervous, just yet! Picked up my meds today and a few other things that I thought I might need. Trying to get all my wish pics together to take to Dr. Lester. Really struggling with size. I am worried that 280-300 may be too small? I don't know. I guess all I can do is show him pictures and let him decide what is best to achieve that look. I'll try to upload a couple of pre-op pics tonight! Updated on 6 May 2016: On our way to the surgery center! My check in is at 11 and surgery is at 12. I am HUNGRY!! Also, very nervous! I'll update again when I can. Updated on 7 May 2016: Surgery went great! I was extremely nauseated afterwards and it took a while to get it under control. Dr. Lester and the staff were wonderful and very reassuring. He ended up going with 300 cc's. Apparently I had a lot of blood vessels that made my chest difficult to access, so surgery took a longer than normal. I slept good last night. My husband woke up every 4 hours to give me my pain medicine. Today, I'm just really sore and getting used to not being able to use my arms as much. I got a good look at my chest today and love them! I can't wait for the swelling and soreness to subside! How long did it take for your soreness to get better? Updated on 8 May 2016: I feel so much better today!! To be honest, those first 24 hours were tough! The soreness and back pain! The heating pad has helped, also walking around. I'm pretty swollen at this point, but I already love the change that the ideal implants have given my shape. I just feel like I did when my milk came in and I was engorged. I'm able to move my arms much better today. Looking forward to being able to do more and more. Updated on 8 May 2016: Updated on 8 May 2016: Updated on 9 May 2016: Every day is getting so much better!! I'm able to move my arms pretty easily and can raise them above my head today. Sleeping is good- I sleep reclined on pillows in my bed. I went 7 hours inbetween pain medicines last night. I'm hoping to go to Tylenol only after today. I think my swelling is probably had it's worst right now, but it still isn't bad. I took a shower yesterday with the help of my husband and it felt so good! I was so nervous to get my incisions and boobs wet, but my doctor reassured me that it was okay and to let my glue air dry before putting my surgical bra back on. I go in Wednesday for my first follow-up. Updated on 13 May 2016: So, I had my first follow up at 5 days post op and Dr. Lester thinks that I'm ahead of the game on healing and that my swelling is minimal! He said most of the swelling is gone actually and that I wouldn't see much change in the size, which I'm incredibly happy with by the way! I think they are perfect for my body and can easily be hidden. :) I am still sore in places, but feel better every day. I am looking forward to when I don't even notice that I had anything done, soreness wise.... And when I can sleep on my side!!!! I have not posted a pic in a few days because one breast hasn't dropped as much as the other and they look a little "off" right now. I guess I should upload one anyway. I don't notice it when i look in the mirror, but i do when i try to take a photo. When I met with Dr. Lester, he noted some asymmetry in my breasts and planned to correct that with where he placed my incision. I can feel that breast is still a little more swollen up top and he noted that it hasn't completely dropped yet. Anyway, I am very pleased so far! I went to be measured, which I was dreading. I've had nightmares that I still measured my old size. It was a good experience and they said I was a 32 D. I tried on a bra in that size and it was so tight in the cups.... I found that a 32DD or 34C is the best fit for me! Exactly where I had hoped to be. Hope everyone else out there is healing well! Updated on 13 May 2016: Updated on 13 May 2016: Updated on 20 May 2016: Hello all! I am 2 weeks today and feeling great! I have slight soreness on the outer edges of the implant, but that gets better every day! I absolutely LOVE my implants. I feel like they look natural and so far, I don't think anyone has been able to tell that I've had anything done. I know to some, that might sound crazy and they may think, "what's the point then?" But, my goal was to look better naked and in a swim suit. I was able to wear a pretty heavily padded bra before my augmentation, so I did't look so small. The difference is, now I don't have to wear a padded bra! It is such a freedom. :) Also, my glue is finally off! I didn't have the steri strips that some do- I have a tape sensitivity, so they just used glue. Well, it started to get sticky and peel a couple days of go. I called my doctor's office and they instructed me to put Vaseline on it over night and to shower in the morning, then peel it off. It worked great and feels so much better! My incisions are looking good, but are pretty itchy right now. My left implant still hasn't dropped as much as my right, so the nurse instructed me to do my massages a couple of extra times on that implant every day. Hopefully it will be there soon! Updated on 20 May 2016: Updated on 23 May 2016: Updated on 23 May 2016: Anyone out there know when the extreme nipple sensitivity goes away? Updated on 26 May 2016: So I'm going to go ahead and update a day early because I've noticed a major change in the last day... My breasts have become SO soft!! I am honestly amazed. I knew they would soften, but I wasn't sure they would feel completely natural after my surgery. I am so happy with my results! I've started putting vitamin e oil on my incisions. There are some red bumps next to the incision site. I called to talk to the nurse and she said it was likely the sutures. I'll take a pic and share it. Also, I think I still have some air or fluid traped in the capsule next to my implant. I can feel it when I press on my breasts just the right way. At first I thought it was air in baffles, but Kendra (my nurse) said that it was unlikely to be the implant and more likely to be air or fluid that will eventually absorb. She said that can take weeks even months to go completely away. I feel great. Still a good bit of nipple sensitivity and the bottom of my breasts are still numb, but every day gets better! I think I even slept on my slide for a little bit last night! :) Updated on 26 May 2016: Updated on 1 Jun 2016: Everything is going great! Still healing. I feel a little tender every now and then. I'm finally getting back into the swing of things cleaning and taking care of my little ones. Vacuuming can still be difficult and wiping down my counter tops... I guess because that really requires a lot of pectoral muscle? I love the shape the implants give my breasts. They are getting softer every day. I think that they feel like my natural breasts! Updated on 24 Jun 2016: Hi guys! Had my 6 week appointment this week and everything is going great! I don't go back for 6 months. I absolutely love my implants! I do get a tiny bit of Boob greed every now and then.... If I had it to do over, I may have gone slightly larger... Like 350. That being said, Dr Lester did exactly what I asked. They are not noticeable with my clothes on, however there is a big difference without my clothes. If I had gone larger, I'm sure it would have been noticeable. I love how they look in my swimsuit!!! It is amazing how much doing this had boosted my confidence. Updated on 24 Jun 2016: Updated on 26 Jul 2016: Hello all! Just wanted to share an update. I am feeling great! I've started using the Scar Away strips to help fade my scars. I'm looking forward to them being less visible. My nipple sensitivity has gotten much better now, however I'm still numb on the lower part of my breasts. They have gotten incredibly soft and are settled. I prefer to sleep with a bra on at night and sleep on my back or side. Sometimes if I sleep wrong (maybe too much on my breasts), they can be sore the next day. Also, one of my incisions still feels tender sometimes. Anyway, just wanted to update! Still love them and so happy I did it. I can get a little obsessive sometimes and worry about if they are symmetrical enough, if they look okay, etc.....but there weren't before my augmentation, and that is where having realistic expectations plays an important role. :) Updated on 26 Jul 2016: Size 32 DD from Victoria's secret
I found this site late in my journey, but I am so glad I found it. I had to have emergency explanation along with a breast lift and new implant. Everything had to be decided and done so fast it was scary. I am 5'4, 130 lbs. I originally had 350cc silicone put in when I was twenty-two ( yes they lasted an amazing 27 years). This new experience has been nothing like the original. I am two months post op and sometimes I like the new girls but most of the time they are like evil twins. I was not prepared for the amount of damage that was done to my body by the breast lift. Sounds innocent enough doesn't it? It's not. That has been the hardest thing is dealing with the incisions and pain that came along with e "lift". I chose to use the Mentor Memory touch 375cc smooth silicone. Both my husband and my Doctor urged me to re-implant, I wanted to be free of them, however my doctor said based on my actual breast tissue I would be very unhappy with the results....and he was probably right. I am happy with the look of the new girls but they haven't begun to feel like a part of me yet. I am waiting patiently. I have no photos of before and a few after I can share. This website has been a Godsend to me during my recovery! Updated on 5 Jan 2016: Updated on 5 Jan 2016: I apologize for the confusion of my photos. The first graphic photo is 2 days post op. The only photo I have of that time frame. The other 3 photos are 9 weeks post op. I continue to struggle with accepting the new implants but I have no choice so I will. The incisions were also shocking to me, I felt butchered but I now know all anchor incision breast lifts are done this way. It was traumatizing. Was it worth it? Well I had no choice but to remove the old implants so I suppose it was. Had my 22 year old self known this would happen later, I would have done it anyway no doubt. Lol Updated on 27 Jan 2016: I just went to my PS today for my three month check up. I was able to get a shot of my before photos. I have done a side by side comparison from my previous photos on this site. Nothing much has changed since then. He says they are doing great, everything is fine. He admits I still have some swelling which is worrisome after 3 months. Has anybody else experienced swelling for this long? Anyway, my theory is that the implant is continually slamming into the breast tissue causing constant internal bruising and swelling. Can't prove it so I will wait to bring that up at my next appointment in April. After six months I will have to get serious about the swelling. My before and after are pretty convincing though, lol, I had no idea my girls looked that awful, they look like they had been through war, of course after one pregnancy and several weight gains and losses over 27 years, that shouldn't be a surprise. You can see where my capsule wall has been busted on my right breast and it has drooped slightly and is bowing out under my arm. Updated on 27 Jan 2016: Updated on 3 Feb 2016: Well after hearing several stories of laying down problems with the implants I decided to test my own. Mind you I have felt all along that they fall far too much into my armpits but I had yet to see it for myself. Well here it is and it ain't pretty. It's not as bad as I thought but I can clearly see defects and one looks different from the other. Guess I will live with it, as long as there is no pain, I am ok. Updated on 3 Feb 2016: Updated on 2 May 2016: Well I made it to the six month mark. I am posting the final result. I am happy for the most part. The adjustment has been traumatic compared to the first implants I got, perhaps due to my age or the whole hellish lift process. I am unhappy with the loss of upper pole everything, it's like they just slid down my chest and let me tell you that those heavy bags hanging against the zippered skin is uncomfortable thus the 24/7 bra (another unhappy thing) my scars are still angry and red, not sure why, Doctor says its normal. They seem to be steadily falling outward and downward. I realize most of this is just bad skin, damn the luck anyway! But, they are soft, I don't have silicone leaking in my body and my husband thinks they're the bomb. So I would call it a success. Wish I had been born with nice breasts or any breasts so I wouldn't be in this position to begin with. Which brings me to a final point. After researching this website continually for the past six months I have to let this out...if you wear anything over an A cup you absolutely cannot call yourself flat chested! Stop it right now! And if you were blessed with naturally large breasts(B and up) for Gods sake don't do this to yourself or at least think about it twice or three times. Thanks to all of you for your inspiring and helpful stories.
Hello Everyone, I am having breast augmentation preformed on Friday. I have decided to go with the ideal implant and notice there are no reviews. I will post as much as possible in order to assist those who are thinking about this type of implant. I am positing some before pictures (right now) and will post after pictures once I able too. I will do my best to answer any questions on here. Thank you! Updated on 9 Dec 2015: Hello Everyone, I am getting nervous as surgery is on Friday! My nurse has called me to tell me my prescription is ready and the anesthesiologist called me as well. I have been thinking about the size over and over as I read that most people wish they have gone bigger. So far the ideal implant I choose can go from 335cc- 360cc. I am leaning towards 360cc now. Updated on 11 Dec 2015: Updated on 11 Dec 2015: I had surgery this morning and I'm surprised at how well I'm feeling. I wasent dehydrated after surgery but I did drink a ton of water this week. I felt disorientated when I woke up as well as nauseated but after about 30-40 minutes it went away. I got home and took a pain pill and was able to fall asleep on my back. After a few hours I woke up and I am now watching movies and walking. Walking slowly around my house feels better than sitting. The pain is mild and feels like the day after an intense chest workout. I am loving my new boobies! I think they look perfect for my body! Yay!! Updated on 12 Dec 2015: Hello lovelies, I am doing great as long as I take my meds every 4 hours I only feel chest tightness. I went out to eat and went to the grocery store too but my sister drove me. My upper back hurt last night. I can't seem to get comfortable laying on my back but there is no other choice. I sleep when I can but its been tough. I also feel very bloated and still haven't gone number two. I hope I can go tomorrow so I don't have to take any laxatives. Any suggestions? Still loving the new Boobies :) Updated on 13 Dec 2015: So I'm surprised how good I felt today. I went to take pictures with Santa with my poms and went xmas shopping. My sister of course has taken great care of me. I was told I could take a bath today and I did! My sister helped me wash my hair since I'm still not able to raise my arms. It feels great to be so clean! My back does not hurts as much and neither do the new girls! I was able to poop a bit but still feeling bloated! I hope I can sleep good tonight as I'm going to try the couch instead of the bed. Goodnight everyone! Updated on 15 Dec 2015: I feel like my boobs are getting even more swollen and my bellying is getting bigger and hard from all the food I eat and not using the bathroom as normal. I did poop 3 times today but it was very strenuous and almost nothing. Can't wait to get back to my normal pooping schedule! Still loving my boobs! I see Dr Lester on Wednesday and I'm excited to hear more about my surgery. I'm not sure how many cc's he ended up with but I do know that the left size is bigger than the right. Sorry for the late post but having trouble sleeping. Zzzz Updated on 15 Dec 2015: Finally pooping more by taking a half shot of olive oil and drinking a green cold pressed juice. Still bloated as you can tell form the photos. I have my first post op Appointment tomorrow with my doctor. Im excited to hear what he has to say! Goodnight y'all :) Updated on 16 Dec 2015: Feeling good and everything went well at my appointment. I learned that my left boob has 365cc and my Right has 355cc. To me it doesn't sound like much but they sure do look more on the bigger side. Loving the ideal implant! He showed me how to massage them daiky and I plan to see him in 3 weeks :) Updated on 17 Dec 2015: I can't believe how great I feel today. No more pain pills or infection prevention pills for me. I survived my first day without any meds and it was pain free :) I did have a slight on and off headache which seems to be a side affect from not taking any hydro. I also had smooth move tea this morning and I have been to the bathroom over 5 times! I think everything that I have been storing has finally come out lol I also massage my boobs for the first time which was a bit scary as its an odd sensation. I'm still loving my boobs! I'm happy with the ideal implant :) Updated on 18 Dec 2015: Wow, it's been a week and I'm feeling great! No pain but I do prefer wearing a bra rather than no bra. I do tend to slouch a bit which I assume is normal. Any thoughts? Updated on 19 Dec 2015: I found the most comfiest bra in the world! This bra is perfect as it holds the girls and I don't slouch as much. It also looks good underneath any shirt or dress I wear. Super smooth and I love it! Not very cute but I'll wait for them to fluff and drop! The brand is BALI comfort revolution. Updated on 20 Dec 2015: Time is flying and im excited that I am still pain free. It looks like my boobs arnt as swollen and are staring to drop. No bruises either so it's been a smooth recovery for me. I still can't jog as my boobs are still hard and move a lot. I think I'll wait until the new year to start my cardio routine. I'll be waiting for my doctor to give me the okay before I start lifting weights again. I miss the gym too much! Updated on 22 Dec 2015: I drove today and it was easy, which was a relief. I'll be running more errand tomorrow and wearing my bra on and off but back still bothers me. Updated on 22 Dec 2015: Feeling good and boobs look good! I feel that there a bit squarish but they are slowly dropping :) happy healing and holidays! Updated on 23 Dec 2015: There's some glue left over so I scratched a bit off but then I found the clear string from my stitches and freaked out a bit. Has this happen to anyone? Do you just leave the glue alone? Will it come off on its own? Updated on 24 Dec 2015: I wanted to add a photo of what the stitches/ glue looks like on me. Still having some back pain especially when i don't wear a bra. I also made some tamales today which was challenging and made my breast sore. It's nice to lay in bed and can sleep on my side for short periods of time. I'm not able to be completely on my side but almost there! Updated on 25 Dec 2015: Everything is great but I did over work myself and am feeling a bit uncomfortable around the stich area. I was playing rough with my dogs and ended up hurting myself a bit. Going to bed now! Hope everyday had a great Christmas! Xoxo Updated on 27 Dec 2015: The site was down yesterday so I couldn't post. Here is my day 15 photo. My stiches were hurting. I think I might have lifted something too heavy? Anyone else's stiches hurting after not being in any pain? Updated on 27 Dec 2015: Update! I can sleep longer periods of time on my side yay! Feeling good and loving the new girls! Updated on 28 Dec 2015: So I'm now use to sleeping on my back so I switch between that and my side. I haven't worn a bra to sleep since my post op appointment and I'm very comfortable. I do wear sports bras during the day so I wanted to post a picture of it. What is everyone doing with their old bras? Some fit me others don't but most of them are very nice Victoria Sectet bras and I have more than 40 bras haha yes 40+!! Updated on 29 Dec 2015: Last night I slept on my stomach! It was accident but I was surprise that my boobs didn't hurt in the morning. I am still doing great just a little itchy on my stiches. I think the boobs look great but need to get back on tack with my workouts! Is anyone working out yet? What workouts are you doing? Updated on 31 Dec 2015: Wow, I can't believe surgery was 19 days ago. I feel almost back to normal. I can't wait for the okay to lift and participate in Cadio. My second post op is on the 6th so I'll let you know what Dr. Lester says! So far my boobs are everything I wanted. Time to catch some zzzz on my side :) Updated on 1 Jan 2016: Happy New Years! :D Updated on 2 Jan 2016: Day 21 update Updated on 2 Jan 2016: Hello! I'm staying in a cabin were there's not much connection so I hope you see this post! Feeling good and am now sleeping more and more on my side. I like sleeping on my back too, finally! Updated on 3 Jan 2016: As I mentioned I was in a cabin so I guess the picture I tried to post yesterday did not post. Day 22 boobs are posted here as well as day 23 boobs. Today! Loving the boobs and the sqaurness has gone down as well the boobs. Feeling good and no complaints :) hope everyone is doing great! Updated on 4 Jan 2016: Just waiting around until I can go to the gym.... Anyone else missing cardio and weights? Updated on 5 Jan 2016: Sooo.... Tomorrow is my appointment to see how the girls are looking and to see if I can start lower body workouts. I have been wearing sports bra this whole time. I went to the mall and notice Victoria secrets semiannual sale. So I decided to finally get measured ( I was avoiding this Bc I read that someone on here had a horrible experience were the lady said she should have gone bigger ect ect and I was also scared to know my size) the lady measured me at a 32C which seemed very small..... I went ahead and tried a couple bras and they looked small... Tried them on and the cup was super small! I added a picture so you can see. I don't know why but this made me so mad as i was excited to get measured for the first time after BA. I had a second lady measure me at 32D or 32DD but I was already mad and upset that I decided to leave. Not sure why I cared about this so much but I was already having a bad day and waited so long for this moment. Emotions have been up and down these past few weeks. Updated on 6 Jan 2016: I went to see my docotor today and he said I'm ahead of the game! Yay, my massages are helping the boobies. Working out is now approved as well. I thought I would only be allowed to do Lower body but my dr said light upper body workouts will do the implant good. I'm really excited to finally get back to the gym and loose this skinny fat. I also went to vs and tried on a lot of bras to figure out my size on my own this time! Looks like I'm a 32D but will wait for the girls to drop somemore. I found the bra posted here at pink it says Small D-DD and fits perfect! Not to mentioned no underwire, cute and comfy! Feeling great and hope everyone is healing nicely ;) Updated on 8 Jan 2016: My breast have dropped and fluffed a bit so I decided to go back to vs since the semi annual sale is going on. To my surprise they actually have two bras with no wire. One of them was on sale and here's a picture of it! I loved the way it feels and I bought the 32DD for extra coverage but the 32D fit me as well. Where else do they sale wireless bras that arnt sports bras? :) Updated on 8 Jan 2016: Update- I have slept on my side for a couple weeks now and I didn't think to post it because it feel so normal. I have added a picture of my scar which isn't bad at all! I'm just going to use vitamin e oil on them until I se my dr again in march. My boobs feel squishy now which is awesome! How's everyone doing? Updated on 9 Jan 2016: Feeling great!! Please go ahead and ask me anything on this post :) Updated on 10 Jan 2016: Everything Is great and I'm sleeping on my side again no problems. No back pain no boob pain :) I bought a sports bra yesterday that fits me snug but eons wondering if when boobs drop I'll need a bigger size? Updated on 11 Jan 2016: It's one month! Boobs look and feel great! I'm really happy with my ideal implant decision and Doctor =) Updated on 12 Jan 2016: Happy healing! Updating a photo taken in November and taken today. Love the new difference!! Now a days the boobs are part of me and I am loving the way they feel. Updated on 13 Jan 2016: Just updating the boob pics Updated on 14 Jan 2016: Here is an update of what my scar looks like today. I have only applied vitamin E. How is everyone doing? What have you used on your scar? Updated on 15 Jan 2016: The boobs are dropping dropping dropping!! Happy healing :) Updated on 16 Jan 2016: Boobs are looking and feeling great! Today I took progress pictures for my trainer and I was so happy I have boobs! It makes such a difference. It was also very cold today and I believe my nipples are very sensitive. Anyone else feel extra sensitivity? Updated on 17 Jan 2016: The cold has made my boobs feel very hard and tense. I really don't like that feeling... I also carried boxes and was organizing this weekend which made them very sore. Tomorrow I start back to my cardio and weight sessions. Wish me luck! Updated on 18 Jan 2016: I workouted out today!! I did lower body and it was hard but it felt so good to be back to the gym! It was hard on my chest to do the decline crunches.... Tomorrow I have arms and plyos so I will keep you posted on how I feel :) Updated on 19 Jan 2016: Time sure files! Today I did light weight chest and shoulder workouts. I did a lot of Reps to make up for the weight but it was tough. I had a weird feeling at times so I took breaks as needed. Right now I'm a little sore from the workout but nothing I can't handle. Happy Tuesday! Updated on 20 Jan 2016: As you may already know I live in Dallas Texas and if you are looking for BA or other sugeries I do recommend Dr. Lester. He did a wonderful job! Just look at this picture and his bedside manner made this whole process so enjoyable :) Updated on 21 Jan 2016: So I'm updating a picture of me in a workout top. I realized today at the gym that the boobs look nice when they are a bit covered. I use to wear tanks because with a sports bra I was flat and there was no need to worry. Now I love that I have boobs to show even with a sports bra but I can't wear tanks. Im still getting use to them and feel like people are starting at my boobs lol Updated on 22 Jan 2016: Quick photo of what my stiches look like at this time. I think they are doing good. I am using vitamin E oil at this time. Updated on 23 Jan 2016: Hello ladies, Everything is going great! I workouted out lower body on the smith machine and others and felt good. I did do back yesterday and some excercises were uncomfortable so I had to go light. I will not be doing the same back excercises because I don't think I'm ready to strech that much. My stiches were hurting when doing pull downs so no more! Updated on 24 Jan 2016: Decided to post a photo of another bikini top I bought at Victoria secret since some of you have asked about the others :) it's a 32D and would have preferred DD for additional coverage. Also, I'm still having a hard time shaving my Armpits. Anyone else? Tips? Updated on 26 Jan 2016: Doing good! I think the upper workout last week was a bit intense in my chest and I felt a little bit of sharp pain today. I decided not to workout lower body until tomorrow. I will keep you posted :) Updated on 27 Jan 2016: Hey gals, Hope everyone is healing nicely. I did lower body yesterday and it was great! I'm more concern on upper body days. Arms, chest and back but will take it slow and do less weights and more reps this week. Maybe just 5 pounds just in case. My surgeon said I was okay to do upper body as long as it's not too heavy because it will help the implant settle. I am posting my favorite cardio workout bra so far. It has the support needed so they don't bounce around lol this one is from Victoria secret. I originally bought the 32D and thought it was perfect but I think it was too tight. I ended up ordering the 32DD online since they don't cary it in store. Updated on 27 Jan 2016: Regular sports bra I had pre op and looks better than ever! Not much support but works great for weights :) Updated on 28 Jan 2016: It's nice that I can hide my boobs at the gym with a sports bra. So far they don't get in the way of my weight and cardio routine. Very happy with this size :) Updated on 29 Jan 2016: Wow, I've already had boobs for 50 days! I can't even believe it! So happy with my decision and results. Updated on 31 Jan 2016: Just updating daily :) Scars today! Updated on 31 Jan 2016: I Love my tatas and can't wait to show them off this summer =) Updated on 1 Feb 2016: Hey, me again....with another daily photo. I'm having a full tummy tuck with lipo of my flanks and inner and outer thighs. I've always wanted a tummy tuck and my sweet hubby (2nd marriage - married for 1 year now) surprised me with this! Now that it's becoming a reality, I'm not as serious about it as I thought I was, lol. I've talked myself in and out of doing it several times already. BUT, God willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be "on the flat side" as you all like to say (love it!) in just under a month. What??? :) Updated on 8 Aug 2014: So here are a couple of photos of my problem spots, lol. That's putting it gently for sure! :) Can't wait for the flubber to be gone. :) Updated on 9 Aug 2014: I didn't put very much personal info in my original post so here goes. 46 years old and a servant of The Most High God. The most important aspect of my life! Also mom of 2 boys and 1 granddaughter. Man I love that little girl! I also adore my boys. :) I have gone through menopause (early) and what used to come off without much effort, is almost impossible to come off now. Weight. Yeah that. Lol! So, hopefully this will propel me into a more healthful mindset. Oh yes, almost 5'7" and weight 179. It only gets better from here on out! Updated on 11 Aug 2014: So the ellipsis on the end just means I'm still not so sure about this. My husband is not letting me back out, though. I feel like physically I'm pretty much ready to go, but not sure about the emotional part. And I'm a very emotional person as it is. YIKES. And here's another thing. I feed stray and feral cats in a couple locations. Who's going to take care of them while I can't? Frankly, this is one of my biggest concerns. I'm just going to pray about it and know that God will have it all under control. He always does! :) Happy Monday ladies - be blessed today! Updated on 14 Aug 2014: I thought I'd show how clothes really do cover my flaws. Updated on 14 Aug 2014: They didn't load the first time! Updated on 29 Aug 2014: One of my good friends sent me this email this morning: Dear Flabby Flanks - "When is your cosmetic enhancement vanity procedure to occur? Will you be able to bring yourself to speak to me and my behemoth blubbery body after you are flattened, smooth and free of unsightly cellulite? Will I be able to bring you homemade restorative healing soup even though I am still fat? If so, how shall I go about that?" She makes me laugh so hard - love her! And she's a great cook, too, so I'll be looking forward to that soup! :) Updated on 1 Sep 2014: TT & Lipo! So I decided to put my before pictures back up. I took down the ones I posted originally because I wasn't sure was going to go through with the surgery. My hubby will pick up the recliner tomorrow. I have a drawer full of supplies and my house is mostly clean. Say a prayer for me in the morning if you think about it. See you on the flat side! :-) Updated on 2 Sep 2014: Surgery took over 5 hours but from what I can see so far is impressive. Woot! :) I woke up quickly from anesthesia and was wide awake for an hour or two. The gave me Valium and Morphine and that knocked me out. I got the Exparel injection so pain is minimal. I keep clearing my throat though. Phlegm be gone, lol! I will stay the night in the surgery center and go home tomorrow. Thank you for the invaluable information you ladies have shared. I know it's going to so hrlpful! Updated on 3 Sep 2014: Just wanted to share some of the supplies I'm using to ensure a speedy recovery: Liposomal Vit C (fat, not water soluble) Juven (for tissue repair; citrus flavor) Arnica Bromelain Green Tea Prunes Quest Protein bars Probiotics Colace Blackstrap Molasses My PS only gave me two prescriptions; antibiotic and hydrocodone. A huge thank you to everyone who shared their supply list, I gleaned lots of good info from them. Happy healing everyone!! :D Updated on 3 Sep 2014: Updated on 3 Sep 2014: Updated on 4 Sep 2014: Hello my RS sisters! Hope everyone's doing great today. Yesterday, on day one, I had a BM, which I was soo grateful for because Id heard so many stories about not being able to, etc. I took Colace, stewed prunes, smooth move tea and boy did that do the trick! A little too good really so I was gassy but I had gas-x to remedy that situation. Ive gotten up-and-down with no problems. One RS sister suggested sitting on the toilet backwards to go pee and that works great for me - no pain at all! I'll be sending that toilet riser back! Ha ha!! One of my drains is producing very little at all while the other is doing a bit more. I've not heard from my PS's office so not sure when I should go back but I'm sure they will call me soon. Can't take a shower until I get my drains out but I don't anticipate that being more than a week. Fingers crossed! :-). Updated on 5 Sep 2014: I haven't wanted to take my binder off at all. I'd rather keep it on until my visit with my PS next Wednesday. Did any of you do that? Everything looks good I just wanna stay wrapped up! Updated on 5 Sep 2014: Drains are putting out less and less each day. No problems there. :-) Updated on 5 Sep 2014: I want to express my gratitude to God in a public forum for His goodness, mercy and grace to ALL of us. He is always as close as the mention of His Name! Sexy4life, you were right about my cats being fine. A dear friend of mine and her significant other surprised me by planning to feed in both locations for up to 4 weeks. Who does that?!?!? True friends. :-) Another good friend brought over the most creamy, delicious homemade chicken soup, cheddar dill scones and chocolate chip cookies today. Soooooo good! And finally, I'm sograteful to all of you for taking the time to reassure, pray, encourage and just be there - you can put a price on how huge that is. xoxoxo!!! Updated on 5 Sep 2014: *cannot put a price. Gotta love updating from a phone. :) Updated on 7 Sep 2014: Moving right along in this healing process. No pain except when the drains get wonky and then POW!!!! Ouchie, lol! Able to be up for longer periods without feeling like in going to pass out. No shower until my drains come out - hopefully on Wednesday!! Updated on 8 Sep 2014: Today started very early, about 6 AM. I didn't have a very good nights sleep, probably because I didn't take my major pain medication. I don't need it so don't feel like I should take it. I did crawl in to my bed for about 30 to 45 minutes this morning and it felt good. I was able to get up from a reclined position out of the bed - no problem...and I have a pretty high bed! I have very little muscle pain and I know he did major muscle repair. Also had major lipo and have very very minimal bruising. I'm so shocked! And pleased of course. :). I've thrown a load of laundry in, and may do a little bit here and there today just because I'm up to it. Ill see how it goes. I hope all you lovely ladies are recovering well and feeling great. Praying for you all!! Updated on 9 Sep 2014: Good morning, lovely RS ladies! I hope everyone is having a great day!! :) Not sure why, but I was up really early yesterday morning, not able to sleep all day even after talking Tylenol PM at around 11 pm. After around 1am I was able to doze off briefly but was jolted awake by my oscillating fan hitting the floor (I have concrete floors) TWICE! I sat bolt upright, very quickly both times. ????. I was so scared that I'd done some damage but this morning I'm okay, just a bit more sore than usual. I finally but the bullet took a hydrocodone as much as I wanted to be done with them and was able to get some much needed rest!! So much for laying off the narcotics but it sure did help. I'm going to have a good day today and pray that all of you do, too! I may even venture outside if I get brave enough. Haha! I live in a high rise so don't want to encounter neighbors and their questions. Not yet anyway. :) Updated on 10 Sep 2014: Hi Ladies, I pray you are all doing well. :) I had my first post op visit with my PS today and my drains were removed!!! I was so happy and NO, they didn't hurt a bit when she took them out - both at the same time in one fell swoop! :) My incision is healing beautifully and the stitches on the backs of my legs (didn't even know I had any there!) and bb stitches were removed. I have dissovable ones on my inner thighs (didn't know those were there, either! they were covered with tape) and those will go away on their own soon. My next visit is in two weeks. My sweet husband and I made a quick stop to Wal-Greens for more Juven (tissue repair) before the dr. appt. After the appt we went to our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Dallas. It was SOOOO good to get out of the house. This was my first time in 8 days! We did it up right, too, lol! After eating we went to the mall to find Spanx. There is a Spanx store in this mall, but geez they're expensive. I mean we've already spent so much - and still spending, lol! I just got one garment there and went to Macy's after that to see what they had. They have a Spanx selection, too (yes, cheaper AND you can use coupons there!) but I bought another brand that I though looked good. Don't remember the name now, though. I'll let you know how these work out. We got home and my hubby tucked me into my recliner ( I love this man so much!! He treats me like a princess!!) and then my son and his fiance came over. We had such a fun visit with them. :) So a very eventful day after the past 7, ha! Feeling awesome about having those drains out - WOOOHOOOOO! I hope everyone is healing well and feeling great!!! Lisa Updated on 11 Sep 2014: I will update later! Hope everyone is healing well and feeling great!! Updated on 12 Sep 2014: Good morning, Everyone! I hope everyone is feeling good and healing nicely. :) PO Day 9 was good - my hubby and I went to breakfast then did a little shopping. It was nice getting out again and feeling a semblance of normalcy. My only complaint right now is how hard it is to get to sleep. What in the WORLD???! I have always been one to go to sleep at the drop of a hat, but since this surgery, I have to take something to knock me out. Even with that it doesn't come easy. I guess if that's all I have to complain about, I'm very blessed! :) PO Day 10 - today - breakfast out again with my honey and now we're at his office. I felt a bit more tired this morning, but still moving around well (albeit hunched over) and feeling good!! I am having some swelling in the region beneath my incision (read: Ken Doll, haha!) and on my hips. But it's not a big deal - par for the course. Oh yes! I had my first sneezes today! Honestly when first started reading about how the felt I was scared!! But really, they weren't bad at all. That muscle repair has been the easiest part for me, I think. Thank you, Jesus!!! Okay, time to exit the premises, lol. Y'all have a wonderful day!! Updated on 14 Sep 2014: Hi Everyone! Today is day 12 and I'm doing good, I hope you all are, too. Went to church this morning, lunch afterward and then to see my beautiful six-month-old granddaughter. So so good holding my baby. Shes six months old but only 12 pounds so it wasn't a big deal I don't think. I got home and was absolutely exhausted! And the good news… I was able to take a nap for the first time since I've started having sleep problems! Slept for a good two hours and woke up feeling refreshed. I'm going back to work tomorrow and am a tiny bit apprehensive about that, but since I work at a desk I don't think it's going to be a problem. And all of the ladies I work with know I had had a TT so will be forgiving of my shortcomings. :) Hope everyone is feeling well and those of you that are going in soon, my prayers are with you. You will do great! Updated on 17 Sep 2014: Good afternoon, RS'ers! I hope you're all doing great and healing in your own way - fast or slow. As long as you're healing!! Doing good over here. 3rd day back at work and things are getting easier every day. I'm doing less hours for this week and will start back next week full time. My manager is really cool like that. :) I did have to make a quick trip in to see my PS this morning. I had a seroma. He drained it and I felt no pain at all. 80ccs. I'll go back next Wednesday for my scheduled visit and if it needs to be expirated again, he'll do it then. He told me not to twist and turn so much, to take it a bit easier. I think I've tried to do too much, too soon. Sleeping in my bed full-time now. That feels so good and my hubby is happy about it, too. But I slept wrong and now it hurts to move my head/neck. Lol! Again, I'm too blessed to be stressed, so I'm just gonna thank God for where I am today. Without HIM, I am nothing. So grateful!! xoxoxox Updated on 22 Sep 2014: Hi everyone! Just checking in real quick to give a brief update. Doing better every day, but I have another seroma that will be drained on Wednesday. Doesn't bother me I'm just pretty swollen. Back at work full-time and that's going great everybody has been very kind, praise God! I hope you're all healing really well and doing great! Updated on 2 Oct 2014: Good Morning, All! One month ago today I was in the operating room being transformed. :) I love my results! Here is what I can and can't do and what's going on so far: *Sleeping in bed on either side - basically however I want *Walking back to normal (I'm a speed walker and right back at it!) I can feel myself starting to hunch toward the end of the day, however. BUT, it's getting better all the time. *I did some heavy lifting last weekend and felt it later in my abdomen, so no more of that until at least 6 weeks *Still dealing with the seromas, but only had 55ccs aspirated the last time (last week). I was supposed to go yesterday, but had to reschedule due to an unexpected event I had to attend. *Feeding my strays/ferals at both locations. There are several juveniles that need to be TNR'd (trap, neuter, release where you found them) but I will give it a couple more weeks before I try that since it involves lifting heavy cages. And since I'm on this subject, if you are able, please look into doing this in your community. All it takes is a little time, effort and maybe a few bucks (my local SPCA does it for free for ferals). But the end result (no unwanted litters/homeless and hungry kitties) far outweighs the miniscule cost. *Still have surgical glue on my incision, but I will post a photo once I get that cleaned off. My doc recommended Vaseline but I don't have any at the moment. All in all, I feel great! My energy levels are back to normal. I'm still taking the bromelain, probiotics, and lipospheric Vitamin C. If you are just starting out on this journey, my recommendations are to take 2 probiotics and 2 bromelain every time you take an antibiotic. This worked very well for me. I hope you're all doing great, healing well and are happy with your results. :) Updated on 9 Oct 2014: Good morning, Everybody! I hope today finds you all well and in good spirits! :) Went to my PS on Tuesday and didn't have to have any aspiration on the former seroma - YAY! Glad that's behind me! I asked him about scar treatment. His recommendation? BAG BALM!! Hahaha! He said there are many very expensive treatments out there (as we all know) and he started naming a few and how elaborate they can be but he simply recommends this one. So I ordered it! :) For a 10 ounce can it cost me $11 and change. You can get it at most stores, too, but I love me some Amazon so I got it there. :) He also told me I can go without my compression garments now, unless I'm working out or doing something strenuous. So I wore jeans to work yesterday without my garment and I didn't like it! I felt very precarious and like I was hunching over again. Not to mention the fact that I started swelling up! Good thing I brought it to work with me. I put it on at about 10am and decided I'm gonna keep wearing it for a while. I started wearing my 5# weights on my legs for my walk yesterday. Felt great, but also very tiring. Just 10#s added to my walk made a huge difference. I keep meaning to post the types of compression garments I use, but keep forgetting. I think two of them are Maidenform. I really like them both (one black, one tan) because they're really tight. Makes me feel secure. The one I got from my PS still my favorite, though. I'm coming up blank trying to remember the name of it. Duh. I had one stitch poking out the very end of my incision but it's gone now - and good riddance! :) For all of you out there wondering if it will ever get better - IT DOES! :) Have an awesome Thursday and weekend!! Updated on 10 Oct 2014: Hi Everyone! I know that swelling is normal and will continue for months after TT Surgery, but I thought it was supposed to lessen with time. I am more swollen today than I have ever been! Just want to get everyone's take. And it's not a seroma. :) Thank you! Updated on 7 Jan 2015: Hi Everyone! I'm 4 months out and doing great! I skipped my last appointment so had one today. Everything looks great and he will see me again in 3 months. I'm doing everything I did before I had the surgery and have been for quite some time. I'm very pleased with the results but do want to lose about another 20 pounds. Happy New Year to you ALL! :)
I'm 48 years old. I lost 40 lbs and I just needed to tighten and flatten my flabby tummy. I had a lot of fat under my breasts that no amount of weight loss and exercise could take care of that! Met with Dr. Lester and immediately knew he was the guy. He recommended TT with muscle tightening and lipo on tummy and flanks. I look amazing only 13 days PO. He also did a little lipo on my chin which makes me look 10 years younger. My TT scar is so thin and I couldn't be happier. In a couple of years I'm going to have him redo my breasts. He is the absolute best!! His staff is the best. B his office manager is a doll. His nurse Kendra called and checked on my all the time! Highly recommended. ?????? I LOVE MY NEW BODY!!
Hello ladies! I've been lurking this website for quite a while! Since my breast augmentation is about 2 months away I thought it may be time to create a profile!! I'm a 28 y/o wife and mother, 5'2 118 llbs. I've been interested in having this procedure done since I was about 18-20, the timing was just always wrong! Luckily I have a super supportive husband that is on board! I recently decided to go to a consultation initially just to get some info but....we ended up walking out with a date booked and a deposit made! I really liked Dr. Lester and decided he would be the doctor for me! I had to reschedule my appointment once but hopefully Dec.16 will be my operative date :0) as excited as I am, I am super nervous and have a major fear of going under with the anesthesia.... I am hoping to end up with about a 34D as an end result. I am starting with a 34A, I hope I am not pushing it to much with size. I am trying to make sure I account for the fact that the implants will lie under the muscle. I am not sure where this will put me as far as cc's are concerned. I think it would be around 350-375? Dr. told me 330 would put me at a full C....anyone go from A to D? Cc's? Anywho I will upload some before pictures very soon! Updated on 2 Dec 2013: So today I paid off my balance! My surgery is officially two weeks away. This time next week I'll be in full recovery mode! Eeek! I'm definitely getting more nervous. My mom took off the day of my surgery so she'll be there for sure "0) I haven't even begun to buy any of the things I've seen some other ladies here buy in anticipation of my surgery! I feel so behind! I haven't even bought a bra to wear after the surgery! I plan to have my blood work done later this week.....the clock is winding down. This will likely be the longest two weeks ever! I guess I'll start rounding up all my must haves! Updated on 8 Dec 2013: Here are some of the pictures I plan to show my doctor. Hopefully I'll fall somewhere among here. I plan to show these pictures to my doctor right before surgery so It's fresh on his mind. I'm more concerned with how they Look opposed to how many cc's I will get. Updated on 10 Dec 2013: I just left Quest Diagnostics where I went to get all my bloodwork done!! Things definitely seem more real now. It's all sinking in and I have had some silent freak outs lol. I read a bunch of profiles on the explant forum last night just because I wantto feel like I've considered all outcomes and can accept them. I wasn't very discouraged since most of the ladies seemed to have their own personal Reasons for making their decision. A couple of ladies suspected the implants were causing them health related issues which was scary. I think overall at this stage I feel mostly confident about my decision so now it's just a waiting game. In 6 days I'll be in boobieville!!!!! (.)(.) Updated on 12 Dec 2013: I realized i hadn't uploaded any before pics of myself! Here are a few. I'll upload some without clothes later today. Updated on 12 Dec 2013: Updated on 12 Dec 2013: Updated on 13 Dec 2013: I got a call from the surgery center this morning to confirm everything was on for Monday morning. They confirmed the time, and asked if i had any questions. Everything is all set!! I'm excited but it still feels like it's unreal. I don't think it'll really hit me until I'm at the hospital going in. I wanted to post some pics of my little friends before they are gone! ! Updated on 14 Dec 2013: I decided to pull out my paperwork I've had since i booked my surgery months ago to double check i hadn't forgotten anything..... and i did... my prescriptions!#@!! I really forgot to Cal thethirties office see if they had sent them off to be filled. I haven't be told ANYTHING and now it's Friday after hours and i can't call the doctors office to check and my surgery is at 9am on Monday morning..... :( :( :( idk I'm gonna do! I have no pain medication! This is a disaster i can't believe i didn't catch this sooner:( Updated on 15 Dec 2013: On Saturday morning i awoke to a text from Walgreens saying i had a prescription readyforpickup! Whew!! IWas ecstatic! I rushed over and picked my meds and now I'm all set! It's now Sunday night and i have to report to the surgery center at 8:12-230am tomorrow morning. I'm sure my sleep will be troubled tonight. I haven't been nervous up until Friday night but now i definitely have the jitters. I guess this will be the last post until after surgery! I'll update asap! Updated on 16 Dec 2013: Hey ladies I'm all done and back at home. I'm still pretty drugged up so I'll write a full review later. Just wanted to add one pic. Until tomorrow! Updated on 16 Dec 2013: Updated on 17 Dec 2013: Hello ladies! Today is the first day after the sugery. I woke up feeling great but last night was very difficult. I ended up falling asleep at about 11 and forgot to take my 1am dosage of pain pills. I woke up around 3am in excruciating pain. I literally cried like a baby. It was rough. Anyways, about the surgery...I got to the surgery center right on time. Filled out some paperwork, got called back, undressed and started my IV. The Anesthesiologist came in gave me the meds and I was out like a light. I awoke in minor chest pain and with a terribly dry mouth. I drank some water and the nurses helped out as much as they could. They were all very sweet. I got home and rested. My chest was very tight but overall I actually felt pretty good. Last night I slept through one of my med times and woke up in excruciating pain in the middle of the night. I took all my meds on schedule today and have been totally fine. I've been itching alot and think it could be the Hydrocodone, icalled my doctor and he said he'd call in another prescription for me. I'll add more pictures in a moment thank you ladies for all the kind words! Updated on 17 Dec 2013: Updated on 19 Dec 2013: So today is day 4, it's been pretty smooth sailing today I took a shower this morning and got some much needed rest. Yesterday was pretty good as well I didn't have much pain. I've been taking it easy and have been really luck to have a bunch of family and friends dropping in all week waiting on me hand and foot. I showered alone today and only had to ask for help once. I forgot to take my mess again while I was asleep last night and I awoke in slight pain in the middle of the night. I was mostly in pain because I had gas pains in my stomach. They eventually subsided and today I didnt have any gas pain. I guess it may be time to take some Milk of Magnesia....I am pretty happy with the overall look of my boobs. I suppose they could have been slightly bigger but I think once they d&f I'll be happier. I've seen the huge difference the dropping can make so I'm staying patient. I have noticed that the breast that was larger before the surgery is still larger still after the surgery. Its not dramatically different but I def notice. I would've thought that my doctor would've corrected a small imperfection like that with the cc's. Today I've been wearing the bralette that I bought before surgery. It's been very comfortable. The surgical bra was starting to make my sides hurt and it was also somewhat itchy. I have not yet really begun to get really excited about my boobs just yet because they still look pretty strange to me. I am happy to see a change (they have dropped just a teeny bit) but I also realize its so very early I would be crazy to expect anytihing to dramatic. I've been doing some very gentle massaging on the top of my breasts. I wish I had a fast forward button so i could go forward about 6 months to see some progress. I will add a few pictures. Until next time ladies! Updated on 19 Dec 2013: Updated on 20 Dec 2013: Today was pretty normal. I showered, and wash some clothes and did some light cleaning. I experienced a little pain in my chest but nothing to major. I took some of my pain meds just in case and it made me super drowsy. I tried on a bunch of old bathing suits and clothes just to see how things fit and it was fun! I've still been sleeping upright at night since it just feels strange to sleep on my back. I'm not sure when I'll be back to my bed but hopefully soon. I still haven't gone to the restroom if you know what i mean, lol. Overall I'm doing pretty well and just anxious to feel normal agAin! I'll add some pictures! Until next time. O yeah i have my post open on Monday at 11:00 so I'll be able to get the info on how many cc's i actually got! Updated on 20 Dec 2013: Updated on 28 Dec 2013: Hello ladies! Me and the boobies are doing pretty great these days! I've been off my pain meds pretty much since day 5. I had my post opp appointment with my doctor on the 23rd and he said everything looked great! My right boob is stubborn and it's dropping a bit slower than my left. I had moments initially where i thought maybe they weren't going to be big enough but now that they've dropped down a bit, I'm totally happy with the size. At my post op i completely forgot to ask my doctor about the amount of cc's again!! Ugh! I'll be calling as soon as i can remember! I have been contemplating getting nipple piercings so i need to ask him about as well. I'll add some pics in the next post! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! Updated on 28 Dec 2013: I also went bra shopping and was able tofind some really comfy bras without padding and under wire. They were only about $7 at Ross. I'm fitting comfortably into a 36C right now. Adding pics now.... Updated on 8 Jan 2014: Hello ladies! It's been almost a month and i wanted to take a moment to update on my progress. I'm virtually pain free, still not sleeping in my bed because of the discomfort. My breast actually feel a lot softer than i thought they would. They've dropped a bit more and my scars have started healing pretty well. Every now and then i have muscle spasms in my chest but no real problems lifting my arms or anything like that. I've still stayed away from heavy lifting just to be safe. I finally got the information on the CC amount from my doctor, it's about what I thought. 350ccs! Anyways nothing else to really update, I'll post pics on my next post! Until next time! Updated on 8 Jan 2014: Updated on 4 Feb 2014: So it'll be two months on Feb.16 since my surgery date! Things have been great. The pain is almost completely gone. I may have a random shooting pain inside my boob every now and then, but it's very rare. I have yet to really go shopping to buy any clothes that show them off a little more so i almost feel like i haven't fully began to enjoy them yet. Lol. By summer I'll likely go shopping for some different looks. Everything i own now totally shies away from any real cleavage. I have definitely enjoyed filling out more simple clothing items and bought a bathing suit as well. I now have to buy a medium top and bottom which is awesome! I've always had to buy a small top and medium bottom! Ugh! I feel like i finally match! Things like this make me love my boobs even more! They're perfect as far as size. I've noticed more attention from other males and females in public when i have any type of cleavage showing which is hilarious to me. I am very surprised at how squishy they feel. I expected them to be more firm. I really love that when i touch them they feel like they are real...well in my opinion. I feel as though I'm squeezing my breast tissue when I'm feeling them, since the implant is behind the muscle i don't really feel it as much. I'm still hoping my scars disappear more. This pretty much sums it up. No complaints here! I'm going back to see my doctor in early March. I'll be posting pictures in my next update shortly. Xoxo! Updated on 4 Feb 2014: Updated on 4 Feb 2014: Updated on 4 Feb 2014: Updated on 7 Feb 2014: Updated on 3 Mar 2014: So it'll be three months for me in about 10 days! All is well here. Still 100% happy with everything! I was able to go shopping this past weekend and really got a chance to appreciate them so much more! I am so happy i got them in ample time for summer! I get so many compliments from women and they usually can't believe they're impants! They are ridiculously soft and have dropped nicely! I really ? them! No pain, no problems sleeping, and my scarring is healing nicely. I never lost any real nipple sensation but want to note all is well in that department. Well that's all for now! I'll be uploading pics shortly! Updated on 3 Mar 2014: Updated on 3 Mar 2014: Updated on 14 Apr 2014: I hope everyone is doing well! I'm working on my fourth month since my surgery and so far all is well. No major updates. I haven't taken many pics lately. They have settled a bit more since last month and the slight difference in size that i thought was very obvious before is becoming less and less noticeable. I'm still happy with the size and overall look. I will take some pictures to post later on today. Happy Monday! ;) Updated on 25 Apr 2014: Today i decided to add something pretty to my boobies! Lol! It hurt and i totally didn't think i was going to go through with it until the end!!! But i did it!!! Loving them even more!!! :):):) Updated on 14 Jun 2014: Hello folks! Just checking in, it's been almost 6 months since my BA and I wanted to update my profile. I haven't really had pain these days. There's sometimes a dull aching pain in my right breast but that's about it. I have noticed a really small kind of lump in my right breast. It's not painful and hasn't grown any since I noticed it . I plan to ask my doctor about it in August at my next follow up. Hopefully it's nothing serious. I'm enjoying summer and swimsuit shopping ???? nothing else really going on. Pictures to follow!! Updated on 27 Jul 2014: Every time I update I can't believe the time! It's been 7 months but they feel like they've been with me forever! I have a little pain from time to time in my right breast but overall it's pretty minimal. It's really more like a dull ache. I had to move my appointment out to September 16th. I will update what my doc says. No major updates! I'll post pics shortly! Hope everyone reading this is doing well!! Updated on 27 Jul 2014: Updated on 26 Oct 2014: Hey Ladies! All is well here. There aren't many changes in my boobs these days. I recently lost about 15 pounds so I do feel like they shrunk just a wee bit. I guess I gain and loose weight in that area like any other woman! Lol. I have been having just a dull ache/pain every now and then in my right boob that does concern me but that's about it. I have been super busy and unable to go see my doc. I plan to go very soon though. I'm still very happy with them and give my doctor recommendations all the time! I'm almost at my year mark! Can't believe that! I went to try on some lingerie! I attached the pics! Updated on 28 Jan 2015: Can't believe it's really been over a year already! I barely think about my boobs anymore these days. They are a regular part of me and feel like they've always been here lol! I didn't get to wear my bathing suits or many cute outfits as i wanted to this summer to enjoy them, but it's almost summer again! I passed by Victoria Secret the other day and decided to finally get sized. The worker measured and said i was a 32DD. I know Victoria secrets run larger than most but it was interesting to be sized lol. I took some pictures to update my one year mark. Everything Is still going well and moving right along. I'm sure at some points updates won't really be necessary anymore, lol. I don't really see to many changes these days. Until next time ladies! Updated on 24 Aug 2015: So it's been a little over 2 years, and things are going great! I've been really able to enjoy swim suits this year! No real changes in myboobs except they have grown some, i can attribute that to weight gain though, i always gain in my boobs and butt. I'm starting to finally get in to buying pretty bras and things and it has been so fun! I have some picturesi will share with clothes on and tomorrowi will post full pics! Xoxo! Updated on 24 Aug 2015: Updated on 24 Aug 2015: Updated on 18 Nov 2015: Hello ladies! Just had to post this picture of this dress i wore recently for an outing! Before my implants, i would have NEVER even thought of wearing this! :) :) :) it was perfect! Updated on 18 Nov 2015: Can't get the pic to attach for some reason :( Updated on 13 Dec 2015: Updated on 16 Dec 2015: Hey ladies! XOXO P.S. the pic attached is a comparison shot, 6 months in (left pic) and today (right pic)
I'm 29, 5'8", and have never been happy with my body shape. In the last year I've been so focused on my career, I've put on some weight. Right at 194lbs to be exact. I decided to have Vaser liposuction two days ago and already so glad I did. I had my upper abdomen, lower abdomen, flanks, and bra line done. Coming out of general was terrible for me. I was nauseous and throwing up, but that was the only problems I had. I wasn't having any discomfort until I started getting sick, and once that started, I was in severe pain. I finally started feeling better once I got home and have basically been asleep for 2 days. I haven't taken my garments off yet for the first time, but you can already see a difference with them on. I'll post more as I progress. Updated on 23 Sep 2013: So I followed doctors orders and didn't shower for 48 hours... I've been off of pain meds for almost a whole day, and trying to drink as much water as possible!! I go in for my follow up on Thursday, almost a week out to remove stitches and check in! I basically have no bruising, I am still swollen, but I can already tell major results! If this is what to expect, I'm thrilled!! Also, my dr said to put a spanx on under my garments for extra compression and to maximize results, so I'm starting that today!! Updated on 25 Sep 2013: I could say this is technically day 4, since the procedure was done on Friday and today is Wednesday... But that's all technicality. ;) I tried to go back to work, but sitting up straight (I have an office job) just made me nauseous and in pain. So I'm still taking it easy at home. I'm still very sore, having trouble sleeping (I'm normally a stomach sleeper), and just in general I'm sure a sight to see when I'm trying to do any activity (ie get in/out of a car, the bed, put pants on...) it hurts and just feels weird to bend (it's a numb pain which is very bizarre) and I'm trying to just avoid it to be honest. But I thought id update pics for those trying to decide about making the decision. Still so glad I did!!
I am four weeks post op from my Mommy Makeover including Breast Augmentation with silicone implants, Tummy Tuck with MR and Liposuction of the flank area to get rid of excess skin, stretch marks and contour my waist. I love my results so far! My plastic surgeon, Dr. Frederick Lester, is simply the best! I cannot say enough about him and his staff! Over all, my recovery has been quick and uneventful, which I, of course, credit to the skill of my surgeon. I still have swelling in my stomach and flanks but I figure if I am pleased now, I can't imagine how excited I will be once the final results set in. I have no bruising and my scars look great! I was up and moving around within a week. I spent the first night in the surgery center. I highly recommend this after having a tummy tuck. I was initially on the fence but after coming out of surgery, I was so glad I stayed. Once home, I pretty much slept the next 3 days in a recliner, waking long enough to take my pain medicine and walk around every two hours. (My husband had to help me up and out of the recliner for the first 2 days.) I took Tylenol with Codeine and Valium and Arnica for bruising and swelling. The nurses told me the key to a less painful recovery for Tummy Tuck patients is taking Valium every eight hours to help relax your muscles the first few days after surgery. I didn't have much of an appetite at all, so I pretty much had lemon ice bars and unsalted crackers to settle my stomach. After one week, I was feeling much better. I really didn't need pain pills anymore and was able to move around more quickly, although if I did too much, I got winded easily. With each passing week, I am feeling more like myself. I have to remind myself that I had major surgery and still need to take it easy. I was just released to begin walking and do more routine household activities. I still have to watch what I do such as lifting, bending and twisting. It's easy to forget that most activities and chores engage your abdominal muscles to some degree. I can't utilize weights yet, no sit ups, crunches or planks and have to watch my heart rate. I can ease myself into these things beginning week 8 through week 12. I still watch my sodium intake, avoid alcohol and avoid being outside in the heat for too long. I am applying Bio Oil to my scars in addition to sunscreen. My results this far are well worth the expense of the procedure and recovery process. If you live in the Dallas area, I highly recommend using my surgeon. I had a few consultations with other Board Certified doctors as well but just didn't feel comfortable with them. I knew Dr. Lester was the one immediately upon meeting him!
I had the cellulaze procedure performed on Tuesday, February 5th. I am 5'9 and weigh around 140 pounds at the moment. I am 40 years old and have 2 small children (my youngest being 10 months old). The first time I ever saw any cellulite on my body, I was around 25 and under some hideous dressing room lighting ... it was very minor at first, but I feel like it has progressed moreso after the birth of my 2 children. For example, I never saw an ounce of cellulite on the front of my thighs until after my first child was born when I was 36 in fact. I eat pretty clean, but (honestly) probably only work out 2 times a week due to my demanding work schedule and wanting to spend time with my kids. However, even when I was single/married with no kids and worked out 6 times a week, I still had cellulite. I had 3 areas done: (i) the bottom part of the front of my thights; (ii) the top part of the back of my thighs; and (iii) my butt. One thing I loved about my doctor is he uses twilight sedation versus just a local numbing agent, so theprocedure itself was extremely comfortable. I arrived at 7:30 am and my husband picked me up at 1:00 pm. I was prescribed an antibiotic and pain medicine and I also elected to start taking Arnica the day before my procedure to help with bruising. This procedure felt kind of serious and precise to me when it was over, which confirmed my decision that it was appropiate for me to have it performed by a plastic surgeon .... but I am also one of those people who has a dermatologist or plastic surgeon instead of... say .... a med spa do my chemical peels, photofacials or botox. I take things like this very seriously. Other than a nauseous reaction to the painkiller (hydrocodone), the messy leaking that lasted through the following next day from one of my incisions, and the generic minor general annoyance with the compression garment, my recovery - thus far - has not been bad at all. One pointer -- for me, the most annoying thing about the compression garment is that it is somewhat high waisted and that feels constricting, so the second I walk into my house after work, I undue the hooks around the waist and fold that part over - SO much better. I sit in an office for work all day and my soreness is not to the point that doing so is at all uncomfortable. The only time it feels uncomfortable to me is when I go to the potty because of the hard ceramic ;) I took the day off after my procedure, but ideally I would have had this done on a Friday just because of the leakage. I was scheduled the Friday before, but the office had to reschedule to the following Tuesday. But today is Friday and I feel pretty great. I am a little swollen, which I assume can appear like you're already seeing great results, but I have a friend who did this in September with another doctor (she is happy with her results) and she warned me that you get all excited at first because the swelling makes it look the cellulite is all gone, but then the swelling goes down and you get disappointed ... but then the results get better over time. So, I will be watching and waiting patiently, promising to update you all every month or so. I made my husband take some "before" pics the morning of the procedure, but I get kind of freaked out about posting them on the worldwide web, but may do so when I get some good "after" pics done .... Or, if you message me separately, I would be happy to share. So, here is prayer going out that this is successful and well worth it! :) Updated on 27 Feb 2013: 3 Week Update: It has been 3 weeks since my procedure and I am doing great. My bruising has been completely gone for several days and I no longer have to wear my compression garment - hallelujah! My skin is still tender and sore to the touch, as well as has that numb feeling. Curious when that will go away because I have seen girls post about doing yoga etc ... but I would not feel comfortable just yet doing my power yoga or pilates classes - I have been sticking to moderate cardio and weights at the gym for about a week so far. am very thankful I have not had some of the issues others have posted about ... including continued discoloration of the skin, sagging look in my skin, or small bumps underneath the surface. I do feel one sort of knot on the front of my right leg halfway up from my knee, but I have been massaging that daily and hopefully it will resolve itself. At my 1 week check up, my doctor was thrilled I did not have much in terms of heavy bruising or lumps that would require any kind of lymphatic drainage massage and his exact words to his nurse were "come look - this is exactly what I would like all of our Cellulaze patients to look like 1 week out." At this point, the swelling has gone down and I do see some small change (moreso on the front of my legs than anywhere else), but I am lucky that I have a close friend who already had the procedure done and she warned me that it does take at least 4 months or so to start really seeing a difference. So, I will certainly continue updating from time to time to keep everyone posted :) Updated on 15 Apr 2013: Update on April 15, 2013: It has been a little over 2 months since my surgery and review. Just this weekend, I took a good look in the morror and can honestly say I see a substantial difference. Are my thighs perfect? No, but I am also 40 years old and have had 2 children..... But I can sincerely say that they surgery DID make an improvement. Since my friends who have had this done said they saw the biggest improvement between 4 and 6 months, I am thrilled to have seen an improvement already - I am hopeful it will continue. I need to have my husband take some more pictures soon..... I see the most improvement on the fronts and backs of my thighs - I'd like to see some more improvement continue in my butt area, but that was the area with the deepest dimples.... I have not been back to the doctor yet to do new pics or my follow-up because I have a very demanding career and his assistant said he can only see me on Wednesdays so it has just not worked out, but I am going to try and schedule that sooner rather than later. I am thankful to have had a positive experience with this because that was a LOT of money to shell out ;) Private message me if you have any questions! Updated on 12 Jul 2015: I felt bad for not posting pics so here you go. I never check this email so did not see the comments. Excuse the fact that I could still use some muscle in my legs ;)
I have had 3 procedures from Dr. Lester. I am very pleased with the lipo and breast aug. The cellulaze is new and the result will take time to fully see.
What we have found with Coolsculpting is that the actual treatment the first 5-7 minutes are the worst. Its feels like an intense pinch and can kind of take your breath away. After those initial 5-7 minutes are up the area being treated goes numb. You lay there the rest of the hour and a lot of people even fall asleep. Directly after the procedure when the applicator first comes off the area is going to be adjusting temperatures again. The best way to explain this is putting your foot when its really cold in hot water. The next few days you may experience some swelling and you will be a bit tender to the touch. Some people may experience some bruising or hickey looking marks. This tends to happen the most on the love handles. The area tends to stay numb for about a week. You will experience some itching when the numbness wares off and this is just the nerves coming alive again. Really all in all there is no real downtime, just a bit of tenderness. You can resume regular activity and schedule the same day.
We have treated patients inner thighs with cool sculpting and have had mixed reviews. What we find is the inner thighs tend to carry a more resistant fat. This means it typically requires more then one treatment to get desired result. The other thing you must be careful about with working with the inner thighs is placing the applicator so it does not leave a groove in your inner thighs. I hope this helps answer your question.
Everyone is different. A couple of factors that come in to play in regards to down time is the starting place. If you start with hardly any breast tissue then there will be a bit more pain because of the amount of stretching is required to fit the implant in. If you have some extra skin already there then down time is much less. Everyone handles pain differently as well. We call in a pain medication prescription for our patients but most of them do not even finish taking those. They are up and around in 3-4 days. There are some restrictions post augmentation however. We ask our patient to avoid lifting, pulling or pushing anything over 5 lbs for the first 3-4 weeks. When heading back to the gym build your tolerance back up. Do not go on a 10 mile run on your first way back. Build up your tolerance again.
I understand being skeptical. There are many treatments out there that have promised long lasting great results but do not deliver. Why trust Cellulaze? Well Cellulaze unlike Velashape or other non invasive treatments attacks the root cause of the cellulite formation. When bonds go at a straight angle they pull down on either side causing the dimpled look. We go in and break those bonds so they form more at an angle therefor getting rid of the dimpled look. Our patients are pleased. The times we hear patients not happy with the outcome is because they have previously been treated with liposuction in the same area and its scarring not cellulite . We are careful to examine the area so that we can differentiate the two if you have had previous lipo in the same area. So far our patients are thrilled with the outcome.
Tummy tucks will run from $5000-$9000 depending on a few factors. Mini tummy tuck is going to be lowest price. Tummy tuck will be in-between and what most of our patients desire and we provide is a tummy tuck with "around the world" lipo. We go after the love handles and back fat to give you a full bikini ready contoured look.
