I just have some fine lines on my left side, and some droopy jowl on my left side. I would like to avoid facelift if I can. I'm looking for recommendation on chemical peel as I also have uneven, pigmented skin tone. I would like to find out whether a chemical peel would take care of the 2 problems I would like to see resolve. Thanks in advance for all answers to my question.
Hi! 58, fair skin F. Skin is not sensitive. In general I don't have a lot of wrinkles, but I am very bothered by my under eyes when I smile. Contact lens wearer since age 15, so a lot of tugging the skin in that area. I don't have dark circles, eye bags, or marked tear troughs, but the wrinkling is awful. Pictures shown with recent Botox as far under eye as an injector will go. I won't do HA under eye filler as too risky, but considering PRF. Would deep peel help? Or lasers? Ty!
I am a 59 year old female, very fair skin so I do not go out into the sun. I do not have any sun damage at all. I lost an extra 10 pounds a couple of years ago, not trying to but did and all of a sudden my skin is crepey on my arms and the fronts of my upper legs. Im looking for a non-surgical way to resolve this issue. Id like a strong skin peel.
I have had 2 previous under eye peels for crepey skin, one an obaji blue peel about 20 years ago and one a combined peel about 8 years ago with the deepest part being under the eyes - I would like to tighten the under eye area as a lot of unhappiness and woorry has led to the eyebags returning - is it Ok to have a third peel in the same area ? I am over 60.
I am 60 and for the past ten years I have had these pesky cheek creases across my upper cheeks that come and go. I have had Juvederm, voluma, restalyne. Sometimes they help, sometimes not. My injector has suggested a chemical peel. I am Italian, tend towards hyperpigmentation if not careful with sunscreen, and use retinol .1 nightly. Am I a candidate for the peel? Thank you for your time. I appreciate all the doctors on this site who so generously give of their time to field questions.
I am 59 and have fair skin. I've had 4 basal cell carcinomas removed with Mohs surgery (none within the last 5 years). I wear sunscreen every day. I have areas of hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. Also, I have broken capillaries in both cheeks. Would a peel, like the Obagi blue peel be an option to address my skintone issues? Or is there another treatment that would be better?
I have had many blistering sunburns as a young adult. Some were so severe my forehead retained fluid. I have very fair skin and at age 60 very thin skin. I have had numerous spots frozen on my face, hands and arms but they continue to erupt and the doctor is recommending a chemical peel. I am concerned about my thin skin and wonder what procedure would be best. I am not concerned about my wrinkles as much as skin cancer.
