Got a lip flip 5 months ago. Waited 15 minutes, didn't experience any of the informed side effects within a few days, except pain / swelling in my left leg. Within weeks I got flue-like symptoms here and there that I brushed off. Got progressively worse, weak breaths, fevers, fatigue, fog, dizziness, weak / poor coordination (extreme migraines, passed after 2-3 months). I'm still sick. It's dismissed as fatigue syndrome / mental illness. Could botox be the culprit? Even such a small amount?
I had Botox for the first time ever and saw great results within 1st week. Only side effect I had was at week 1 had sudden drowsiness, fatigue and a little puffy eyes. It went away within 24 hrs. The two week mark hit and I noticed day by day my lines are returning. Each day I notice more lines returning & getting worse. I went back and we did not do a touch up Bc it wasnt that bad, but now its worse and the lines are returning full fledge. Does this mean Botox just doesnt work for me?
I had to find a new Dr for botox so I did my research and decided on a facial plastic surgeon double board certified with great reviews from 3 different sources. I got Botox last Tuesday. He used 75 units for forehead, eyes, mouth & chin. Ive never had that amount of Botox but trusted he knew why he was doing. The next day under my right eye was bruised and swollen. Now Im fatigued & getting dizzy spells. Theres no undoing botox, this is so freaky Im worried sick.
Went in for Botox for frown lines. 25 units. Couple hours later rushed to emergency Throat started to close up. Week later still have terrible side effects. Dizzy nauseous nervousness extreme fatigue What can I do and how long will it last
I went in 2 days ago for Botox. The injections were fine but when I went into the lobby I felt nauseous then got a blacked out tunnel vision. They had to drag me into a room. I couldn't see and couldn't move my hands. After about 2-3 minutes I stared getting feeling and motor skills back. I felt fine yesterday but I'm starting to feel fatigued today. I called the office, they said I could be dehydrated. I have had a bit of water. So not sure if any of this is cause for concern. Thanks!
Botox 2 yrs ago caused bumps & thrush on my tongue and throat & ear canals felt excoriated. Drs say no correlation. Tongue/throat healed after 3 mths zantac BID. joint pain, fatigue, foggy brain went away. 2 years later (3 wks ago), got botox again. In 3 days, painful bumps/thrush on tongue/throat, ear canals excoriated. symptom relief with consistent Zantac BID. joint/bone pain, foggy brain, fatigue requiring daily naps. Since botox, mild thyroid issue advanced to hashimotos with peroxidase result > 600
I am very close to opting for Botox injections for the 11 between my brows, forehead lines, and crows feet. I came to these message boards to learn more, and now I'm scared of the side effects. Since I tend to have issues related to Chronic Fatigue, I'm concerned about the flu like symptoms and/or cognitive spaciness that I am reading about. How common is this? FYI: A Flu Shot tends to result in me feeling ill for several days. Am I to expect the same from Botox?
