So, I am now 5 weeks out from a 360 body lift. The front of my abdomen is swollen, but, it seems to be improving, however, my love handles and back are still retaining lots of fluid and are swollen. I know the dr. had to unfurl my skin in that area and he did a significant amount of liposuction. I assume that this is normal swelling due to those factors, however, I am worried as my pre surgery pants all do not fit. How long does it take to see final results? 6 months to a year?
I had a body lift done along with a fat transfer to my bottom. I weighted 224 before I got the drains removed and currently, 3 months later, I am 244 pounds. The doctors told me not to freak out because I'm basically eating and sitting around the house. I am also aware that my body is still swollen and I am retaining fluids, Once I get back in in the working world, it should come off. I must admit, I am on summer break and not eating as clean as I usually do. PLEASE HELP, I'M FREAKING OUT.
I had a lower body lift almost 3 months ago. I lost almost 85 lbs naturally prior to surgery and over 10lbs of skin and tissue was removed during surgery. I am very unhappy with the way my stomach looks. I look nice in my compression garments under clothes but I wouldn't dare wear a 2 piece. I am somewhat disappointed because I feel like I still have a lot of loose skin and fat on my abdomen compared to others. Am I just swollen or do I indeed need a revision?
It's been 8 mos since my 360 lift, w/o muscle revision and 4 mos since my scar revision w/muscle revision. My results look funny, it looks like I have a line down the middle of my stomach to belly button and the right side is larger or more swollen. Belly button down, is lumpy. Between Feb and Apr, I had a seroma in the area to the right of the lump, it was drained 2x. The lump doesn't feel like my past seromas. It's squishy. My left side is good, but the right is not and its tender. Thoughts?
Had LBL 7/24/18 healing pretty well but my pubic region is hard and swollen and tender. Post op week 1 first drain came out of that area. Post op week 2 second drain came out of that area. This is the only thing that is painful or causing a ton of discomfort. Ive massages the area checked nothing looks infected. Is is normal? Anything I can do?
I'm three days post op. My butt is still swollen but very flat. My surgeon assured me that she would make it as round as possible. She also said that I won't need to wear compression garments because people are more likely to hurt themselves putting them on and they aren't proven to benefit the healing process. She said I could wear spanx for comfort. Would wearing a butt training spanx like in the photo help shape and round out the butt.
