Post-Pregnancy Procedures

Breast Surgery
Breast augmentation is one of the top five cosmetic surgical procedures performed in the U.S. every year. With this surgery, women can enhance the size of their breasts, fix an abnormality, and create a greater sense of self-confidence. Since it’s essential to have an accurate idea of what your new breasts will look like before undergoing surgery, we include complimentary Crisalix 3D imaging or 3D photographic simulations with your consultation at my Dallas, Texas practice. This technology allows you to visualize your ideal breast implant size (volume), implant shape (round or anatomic), and profile (implant projection). Recently, fat transfer breast augmentation has become a popular, effective, and less invasive method of increasing breast size without implants. Using liposuction and a specially designed fat-graft system, we remove fat from unwanted areas, such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs, and re-inject it into the breasts.
Body Contouring
I offer a number of cutting-edge body contouring procedures at my practice in Dallas, Texas, including the latest liposuction technology and techniques such as SmartLipo, SlimLipo, Vaser Hi-Def, and post-liposuction skin therapy like Endermologie and BodyTite. Thanks to this technology, much of which is non-invasive, liposuction is still one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures due to its effectiveness and ease of recovery. It can dramatically contour just about any part of the body, including the chin, lower abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, chest, flanks, and arms. For those struggling with a double chin, Kybella is a deoxycholic acid treatment that provides a nonsurgical alternative to liposuction by essentially dissolving fat through a series of injections. Outside of his private practice, Dr. Burns is a clinical instructor of plastic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Plastic Surgery and is involved with the Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship Program at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute.
Whenever possible, Dr. Burns uses his surgical expertise to give back.
