I have been struggling with texture, redness, pimples that are deep, and irritation with sensitive skin. I have been prescribed to doxycycline, sulfamethoxazole trimethopim, epiduo, and retain a. I have been prescribed to these medications over the course of 3 years now and nothing has worked. Is accutane my way to go?
I am an 18 year old female. Ive forever suffered from genetic and hormonal acne. Ive been on birth control, Epiduo, Spironolactone, Aczone, and more. Spironolactone helped, but am no longer on it and my acne improved more off of it. My face stayed clear (as clear as Im gonna get) for a few weeks and its starting to come back. I am starting Accutane in 2 weeks. What do you think my percentage is of Accutane keeping my face clear even after I finish my trial of it?
When I had health insurance I would go see a dermatologist and they would prescribe me epiduo, cetaphil and even some pills nothing was working . Soon after I no longer had insurance . I have been using a product called acne.org but still deal with very oily skin white heads black heads and severe.scaring and holes. I'm ready to find something that will actually help me and someone who can help been dealing with acne for a couple years now and every years has gotten worse
I did 2courses of accutane (when I was 20, then 23) after trying every prescription pill in the market and now my skin is staring to relapse once again. My GP prescribed Epiduo before giving a referral to the Derm just to see if it works but apparently my skin looked worse. Dried flaky skin with more spots than before. I just dont know what to do anymore.
Hello, I just started Accutane 1 weeks ago. Prior to that, I was on doxycycline, Acanya, and Epiduo for the past 10 months. Currently, I have more acne that I have had in the past 8 months. I believe it is because my skin has no epiduo and acanya. My face is slightly dry right now. I know i should not use the meds with accutane so the doc can gage how much mgs he should give me. (currently on 80mg a day, weigh 180lbs) What is so wrong with using epiduo with accutane? Dry skin isn't an issue 4me.
