Facelift Miracle - Palo Alto, CA

Facelift
Being my first time under the knife, I was extremely nervous, but Dr. C and his staff were extremely nice, and went out of their ways to make me feel more comfortable. They had several payment options available, which made my dream a reality much sooner than expected. Dr. C took time to thoroughly explain the surgery and healing process to me before the surgery, so I was totally at eased with the procedure. I wish all doctors care about their patients and work as much as Dr. C. I have recommended his work to all of my family and friends, in hopes that they will be in great hands when they undergo these nerve racking surgeries. Overall, I am very thankful to have found Dr. C. I can't put in to words how appreciative I am of his work. I hope all of you reading this will call him when you plan on undergoing plastic surgery, because I know you will love him too!

Dr C did a beautiful job on my horrible stomach. My gynecologist had a tummy tuck by Dr C and she could and did wear a bikini to my last summer pool party. I saw Dr C and he did a fantastic job on my tummy tuck. I look and feel great and have a bright red bikini for my pool party this summer. My husband was so happy he lost 40 lbs and is scheduled to have his residual man boobs liposuctioned by Dr C in April. Go to Dr C with confidence. He is a kind, caring, brilliant doctor. Tummy Tuck
I did my research, visiting multiple doctors. Dr. Commons was by far the most considerate, accommodating, patient, and forthcoming. His track record is stellar, and he is extremely experienced with large-volume liposuction, which I needed. He was realistic, showed me pictures of women who looked like me and gave me a straightforward impression of what my outcome would be. I cannot say enough positive things about him.

Liposuction
Dr. is a certified plastic surgeon who's been doing lipo for 30 years and is affiliated with Stanford. He's seen it all and won't exagerate your results. That said, he's funny and jovial and optimistic and he makes me feel like this has been a success thus far. Just remember to pin him down for deets if you want them, because his default is to be kind of paternialistic and vague.

Mommy Makeover
Dr. Lepore was going to be my PS but I made the switch to Dr. Common's after I saw his boob work. I found Doctor Common's to be absolutely wonderful. He answers emails promptly and takes phone calls if he's available. He is straight to the point and tells me what I can and cannot do. He reminds me of a grandfatherly figure with real compassion and care for his patients.

When meeting with Dr. Commons, you feel so much at ease. Dr. Commons is a very warm and experienced Doctor. His biggest concern is for the safety of his patients. He reviews your concerns and gives you a few alternatives, for you to make the final choice. For me, I chose to have liposuction on my Abdomen and Anterior flanks. Dr. Commons explained the procedure, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Commons took very good care of me, utilizing his many, many years of his experience. Dr. Commons also provided me with excellent follow up care. Thank you Dr. Commons for helping me fulfill my goal. Dr. Commons Assistant, Elaine is a dream. She is so accommodating. Thank you Elaine for setting up everything, and making all of my follow up appointments. Elaine clearly explained all of the paper work and handled everything, for my liposuction surgery. I can see why she has worked with Dr. Commons for so many years.

I choose Dr Commons for my facelift, forehead lift, and eyelids because after extensive research I determined he was the best in Palo Alto and on of the best surgeons in America. He has vast experience of over 2500 facelift procedures and is the most caring physician I have ever met. I am also a plastic surgeon and I am well able to wisely choose Dr Commons. Dr Commons is just so perfect in all he does. His Plastic Surgery Center is approved even by Stanford for Stanford's use. Dr Halperin is a wonderful anesthesiologist. All is so perfect in the Commons office. Amazing that his fees are so fair. Dr Commons clearly does not have to do cosmetic surgery for money; he does his passion for and with love and caring of his patients. Go to Dr Commons. You will be glad you did. post op: I love this doctor and his team, five stars all around !!!! pre op: So far I would reccomend this doctor he stayed with me in a consultation for 2hrs he was beyond thuro in answering my questions, he stayed threw his lunch because I ran late coming from out of town 400 miles away , he was very busy that day and still took care of me. His secratary is very helpful in getting information from the doctor to answer my questions as I come up with them since the consult. So from this stage I would expect to give Dr C full 5 stars for his services if I didnt I wouldnt have picked him out of all the surgeons I have met with , also he has been doing this for 25+ years and is board certified. ,,, Went in for pre op today , I just love dr commons he is the sweetest. once again he spent a great amount of time with me and answered all my questions and concerns , one major thing I like is he doesnt just do the TT and breast work he makes sure it all fits together even if he has to do a little extra work its all included.I feel so close to him and I can guarantee that I will be dealing with him till the day I stop having cosmetic surgery. I will post again on this after surgery It is now 1 week after surgery and I love my doctor even more then when I picked him from the begining , he did a great job and not only that he is such a sweet man and very smart i just cant tell you how great he is enough.

I can sum up my experience with Dr. Commons with two unique qualities about him as a surgeon: his emphasis on the patient’s safety and comfort and his aesthetic eye for cosmetic surgery. These qualities are the reason I selected Dr. Commons to do my breast augmentation. Dr. Commons is very concerned with the safety of his patients and no short cuts are ever taken. He asked me to not take any shortcuts in safety for my own surgery. He told me that during my process of choosing a surgeon to make sure the doctor is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, an anesthesiologist is present at my surgery, and that the surgery center is certified by a major organization. I appreciated that he gave me the information to compare other options for my surgery, but in the end I felt the safest with Dr. Commons. His work was impeccable and I felt safe and cared about through the entire process. I am still impressed by his precision of the stitches on the incision points. He was even open to my, maybe naive, questions like “how long will I feel the breast implant inside me when I lay on my stomach.”

Juvederm
Dr. Commons was highly recommended to me by a friend. His office staff scheduled my appointment. I was seen on time. Dr. Commons spent time with me explaining his plan and studying my face. He is easy to talk to and all of my questions were answered fully. I was concerned about the bruising and swelling but it all subsided like he said it would. I plan to schedule another treatment in 3-4 months with Dr. Commons.

I had a big ball like fatty nose and I was always so conscious about it. It was 6 months before my wedding I thought to look for rhinoplasty . On doing Google search Dr Commons educational background really impressed me. I left a note on his website and next day got a call for free consultation. On my first meeting I found Dr Commons a very warm friendly person and I took the decision to underwent surgery from him. With in a month my surgery was done and believe me 1st look of my nose was not that flattering . Doctor said you will see things in a month and it will improve with time. He called me every month and month after month it was improving. I had more then desired resuts with this operation and must say a special warm hug from big teddy bear like Doctor on every visit use to enough for make my day :).

Tummy Tuck
I found Dr Commons on RealSelf. I met him and immediately felt I could trust him 100%. I think he is honest and would not do anything unprofessional or unethical. He's reminds me of a hard working Dad type who really cares about people. This was a huge concern for me being that I'm in the medical field and know that not all Doctors are created equal. My tummy tuck looks great, nice neat, thin scar.

He is the BEST!! Had breat Aug, nipple incision. In 3 days I was off pain killers. I was scared of losing nipple sensation but I didn't!! He made my incision soo fine its practically invisible around my nipple. Little brusing. My doctor Rocks!! On top of that His very kind, understanding and caring . Very sweet! I love him. his not one those doctors I call "show host doctors" that try too hard. Infact he doesn't try at all. And he shouldn't he has 30 years of experience. If you want a good job go to mr. commons, if you want a doctors to sweet talk you and tell you all the pretty things you want to hear then dont go to him.. he'll only give you honestly.. =)

Dr. Commons is a super cute old man, and I knew right away that he would take good care of me. Never having had experience with plastic surgery or surgery in general, I asked a lot of dumb questions ("Can the lipo suction tube stab through my neck?") but he was always very patient. One thing I would have liked to know about: Pricing is going to be expensive because costs vary by region. So, depsite being a poor college student, because I live in a well-to-do-area, it automatically costs more. Secondly, Dr. Commons is old-school and does not use digital imaging. This might make some people uneasy, since many doctors can and will show you a projection of what you will look like after your procedure. Dr. Commons chooses to make the decision during surgery, and he tests out implants. he and his nurses decide which one looks best. I decided to trust him, but even then it's a little scary to have no say in the final product. Thirdly, patients are responsible for surgeries to correct or remove the implant.
