I had my tummy tuck and muscle repair done yesterday morning. No its the next day and its 1:15 am and cant sleep because I have off and on what feel like spams-contractions. They come on quick and are painful. Is this normal? Will it ruin my repair? How can I prevent this. It hurts :(
My TT was 18 days ago and I'm doing pretty well during the day with Mobic and Tylenol (and thrilled with results). My trouble starts at night, I can't sleep in any one position for more than about 45 minutes due to pain/muscle spasms in my hips. If I take 10mg of oxycodone I can stretch it to maybe an hour and a half of sleep. My pain isn't from my incision or abdomen. The MA at the PS's office didn't have any advice.
It's been five years since I've had a tummy tuck and for some reason ,I have been having muscle spasms here and there. It's been times where I normally stretch and all of the sudden I get them. There was a time where I was brushing my hair and all of the sudden i got it just for putting my hand up trying to do my hair. Any recommendations of what I can do concerning this matter. Or of this Is normal after the tummy tuck?
I have been intensely working out for 6 weeks. I was doing some Ab work and felt a tug. I was thinking Pulled muscle next to my belly button. That was a Week Ago. Now Im feeling Rolling Cramps or Contractions in my Abs whenever Im out of a Waist Trainer....A Few Zingers. Thoughts? I look fine. Ive been resting.
I have been feeling great and am two weeks post op tt. So yesterday morning I did alittle house work. Well last night I felt very swollen with spasms. I did have muscle repair with lipo. The Dr removed twelve pounds! I had three big boys and lost about sixty pounds. I do wear a compression garmet. I was very fatique and am late for my mestral cycle(not prego had tubal). I do have bad cramping during that time of the month. Is this normal? Do pain and swelling of abdomen have to do with this?
I'm taking oxycodone and another medication for muscle spasms along with antibiotics, Bromelain and Arnica. Not all at once just when I'm supposed to. Is the elevated heart rate just from the medications and surgery or is this a concern?
I had a tummy tuck done almost 2 weeks ago. I have noticed the past 4 days I have had muscle spasms on my abdominal wall (very painful). Is there anything I can do to ease the pain? I tried walking, massaging my abdominal area to no avail! Is this part of the healing process? PLEASE HELP!!
Hi! I'm almost a week PO TT with full MR. As of yesterday I have begun feeling fluttering type feelings every now and then. I have decreased Valium and am only taking twice a day, no Pain meds. Still have drains in and am only at about 15-20 ml's a day at this point. Are these types of spasms normal or a sign that I may be over doing it with activity? No pain when it happens, btw. Thanks!!!
I am 10 weeks po. And prior to surgery I had a back spasms. They went away for a while, but now they are back. My pcp wants me to get a mri & ex rays, bit I scared theyll see it my exrays I had surgery. So my question is can they tell, thru the mri & xrays I had a tt? And I have to go in to have my hip looked at due to an injury I had a year ago.
I had TT a week ago and have been woken up the last few night by muscle spasms of the abdomen. I remember this also happening after the birth of my children. It seems to be the body's way of healing, or perhaps due to the increased stimulation and irritation. My concern is the integrity of the muscle repair. I am taking muscle relaxers to help. Should I allow the muscles to cramp? Will it hurt anything? I do plan on seeing my PS soon and discussing it. Thanks for your time.
