What's causing the fluttering feelings 6 days post TT?

Hi! I'm almost a week PO TT with full MR. As of yesterday I have begun feeling fluttering type feelings every now and then. I have decreased Valium and am only taking twice a day, no Pain meds. Still have drains in and am only at about 15-20 ml's a day at this point. Are these types of spasms normal or a sign that I may be over doing it with activity? No pain when it happens, btw. Thanks!!!

You may be experiencing muscle spasm as you heal. The valium can help. We have eliminated the use of drains in our practice, but these may be causing you some irritation as well. Should get better relatively quickly.

You may be having some muscle spasms following your TT, or you may be feeling some fluid which may be shifting as you move.  Let your surgeon know about this.  There are treatment options if the symptoms become bothersome.  But either way, this should resolve over the next few weeks.  Best wishes.
