Help me. It has been 6 months since I was badly burnt by a laser leaving deep atrophic discoloured scar on my nasal bridge. It's been devastating. What can I do to minimise this? I have had filler- fine lines put in 2 x, but it only seems to stay in place for about a week, before migrating out of the scar, and scar returns. And advice? I feel very desperate.
It was rather deep (it bleed and it was all raw). I cleaned it out with Hydrogen Peroxide and used Neosporin on it for a few days with a band aide. Was the wrong thing to do? Drawing from prior abrasions on my body from being an athlete, I have a high tendency to hold hyperpigmentation from the injury. Its been almost 3 weeks, and the area is significantly redder in coloration than the rest of my forehead. Im trying to avoid hyperpigmentation of the area & permanent noticeable discoloration!
Scar was result of the healing result of an infection ( necrosis?). It is not raised just white, unlike surrounding skin. On the bridge of nose and even more noticeable if my nose is red from irritation as the scar remains white. Do I have any options for correcting? Scar is around 7 years old.
My scar is about 10 years old and I feel like it's gotten worse overtime. I finally want to do something about it and would like to get the work done in the Southern California area. I may be willing to go to the Bay Area if necessary. I'd like to get some suggestions and feedback.
Hi- 3 weeks ago a golfing club (putter) fell on my nose bridge and its still quite red / dark / marked. Can anyone help me with best treatment to do? I just started using Avene brand - cicalfate post procedure emulsion yesterday. Im using sunscreen. I also ordered platos scar serum. My skin does scar / marks easily because of my skin color. Do you think this will fade eventually? Or will I maybe need laser? Photos difficult to upload but including what i can. Thank you!
So I have been using Cpap full face mask for the past 3 months. One night, in order to prevent leakage I might have tightened the mask causing this injury. The injury has fully healed, but unfortunately now I have this depressed nasal bridge scar. Kindly advise on the treatment? Should I go for a dermatologist?
Hello, i was assaulted 8 days ago which opened up a cut on the bridge of my nose. I received plater stitches,not real ones. I have now removed them and see that there is a visible scar. How should i treat it ? Should i use the plaster stitches again ? Thank you for the help
Hi - I posted on here in January after injury occurred - dropped a golf putter on bridge of my nose 1/3/22. Ive been applying sunscreen daily, and different scar creams / gels that havent helped much. Im wondering if there is anything else that may reduce the scar? Someone mentioned microneedling but Ive heard mixed reviews on whether it could make it worse. Seems like there is some indention where the putter fell. Also still some redness. Would appreciate any advice - thank you!
