Scar on the bridge of the nose from a hit - how should I treat this? (Photos)

Hello, i was assaulted 8 days ago which opened up a cut on the bridge of my nose. I received plater stitches,not real ones. I have now removed them and see that there is a visible scar. How should i treat it ? Should i use the plaster stitches again ? Thank you for the help

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

You're still early in the healing phase. No need to reapply any stitches. The best thing you can do is sun protection (keep out of the sun, use at least SPF30 every day) to ensure the scar doesn't darken. In 2-3 weeks, you can start scar treatment with a silicone gel. The good news is the face heals very well. If you're unsatisfied after 1 year, consult with a plastic surgeon for a scar revision.

For scars like this I have used combination of PRP with micro needling to help address the area. This focuses on natural remodeling of the scar tissue. Complete removal of the scar may not happen however significant diminishing of the area would be seen.
