Hi, I had rhinoplasty ten months ago. Everything went well. I didn't have any complications. It was successful operation. But unfortunately last couple of weeks there is a bump appeared on my nose. Sometimes I have a very bad pain there and it hurts ves me headache as well. Doctor removed the hump. I had open rhinoplasty. The dorsal hump looks very bad. Please can you advise me , what's this? I've recently started suffering from chronic daily headaches (unfortunately a few months before my rhinoplasty surgery) and they don't look like they'll be going away any time soon. I was wondering if it's still safe for me to get the surgery? Am I at any serious risk to suffer from complications from anesthesia?
Hi! I had septo-rhinoplasty surgery in December of 2019, and during the first year my nose felt great and I felt very excited about my results, too. However, over the past year I've noticed my nose changing (mostly the tip) and I have started getting sinus headaches again. Is there a way to change this or adjust the drooping tip? The first photo was taken about 8 months after surgery and the second photo was taken today, over 2 years after surgery. Thank you for your help!
I had a rhinoplasty 3 years ago but now Im dealing with major sinus pain. I have pain in my cheekbones and all around my eyes including my temples. My doctor gave me a nasal spray I have to do every day for 4 months. Could this pain be from my rhinoplasty?
Yesterday I got hit quite hard in the face on the bridge of my nose with an umbrella handle (solid) directly. It instantly swelled up and was really painful, my eyes watered. Today it is bruised (still swollen) but only where I got hit not under my eyes. When I press on either side of the bridge it hurts and when I press where I got hit. It didn't bleed at all. After a while today I've started to get headaches and slight migraines by my left eye and above. Is there any damage ??
Around 3 weeks ago I got elbowed in the nose it clicked and was bruised for 3 days it was slightly bent to the right however it still hurts when I touch the left side of my nose and I can feel a crack, when the impact happend it didnt bleed but it has made me not remember much from that day it gave me a headache and my whole nose was red. Is there any point still going to a surgery?
Hi I had my rhinoplasty done 18 days ago I knew there would be swelling but my cheeks and top lip are still heavily swollen aswell as my forehead along with minor headaches every now and then. Ive been to my GP and hes put me on prednisolone for the last 3 days and nothing has changed! Is this normal? I can barely move my top lip and Im pretty scared. My skin has also heavily broken out into what seems to be the worst acne Ive had. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you
Since I was younger, I have always gotten frequent headaches and migraines so Im used to the pain. But a few years ago I broke my nose (never saw a doctor about it) and now everytime I get a headache it starts in my nose and the pressure and pain is so bad. Should I see a doctor to try and get a potential surgery done to fix this problem and see if my headaches will stop?
My daughter threw 2 plastic figurines and they hit clipped the bridge of my nose. I have had a lingering headache and it feels like the pain is centered where my nose is. My eyes arent bruised and my nose didnt bleed, it is slightly swollen but no one but me would notice. There is a red mark where it hit and I can barely touch my nose, its so tender. Should I go see my family physician? Is there anything they can do?
I know I am not supposed to smoke cigarettes two weeks before (I don't at all). But I thought it was because of the tobacco/nicotine. So I have Rhinoplasty in 6 days and these past two weeks I have smoked marijuana 3 times. I don't get stoned, I just smoke a little to help me fall asleep or help headaches. It's hardly anything but it helps.I get headaches extremely frequently and I usually take Excedrin for them but I haven't been able to. I just want to make sure it won't affect my rhinoplasty?
