DR Saigan ruined my tears through

Dr Saigal did a horrible job injecting my tears...

Dr Saigal did a horrible job injecting my tears through. Firstly, he injected me Juvederm Voluma even when I told him that most of the surgeons at Realself recommend Bolotero or Restyline Silk for that area. He insisted in that Voluma was the filler for the tears through area and that " all his patients are happy with the results". Because he supposes to be the "expect", I agreed with his decision which I regret deeply. He created two big and deep channels under my eyes that I cannot even cover with 2 layers of make up. Over a month later, I have a permanent big shadow under my eyes, have fine lines on my dark circles that I never had before, and I have saggy eyes which makes me look tired all the time. Plus I had bruises and swelling for almost 2 weeks!
After 10 days, I requested a follow up appt to discuss the bad results. On the beginning of the visit, he tried to "convince me" that the results were" great " and that what I was seeing was not "real". I needed to mention him that this was not the first time I had had fillers and that I knew what "good results" means.
However, what upset me more about his attitude was the fact that he wanted me to believe that he had done a great job making me see as a "fool" person. Finally and with the "before/after pics in front of him, he needed to admit that my results were not good at all and that he did not have "Restyline in his office at the moment he injected me and that was why he injected me Voluma.
Overall, very bad experience with horrible results that I will have to deal with for 9 months until the fillers get diluted. I do not recommend Dr Saigan to anybody. Maybe he is good with noses, but needs to take several more trainings to be good at fillers.
Interesting comment from the Doctor because I was never told ( or offered) during my follow up that I had the option to " dissolve" the fillers. I would have happily accepted it.

Voluma is not recommended for tear troughs a lot of doctors use and prefer Restyline for this area because is more thin for this area and voluma is for cheeks wherever part of the face you want to give volume .

Exactly! It seems like everybody knows that EXCEPT for Dr. Saigan! What a joke!

The interesting part is that he has "great reviews" all over the web and now am wondering how truthful those reviews are!

I am so sorry that it happened to you. He probably wanted to sell you the pricier product. You should get it dissolved. If it does not work, a lower blepharoplasty will get rid of all of the product. The bad thing is that the area is delicate, the good news is that it is very easy to locate and easier to tackle it. Again, i hope you solve this issue soon. xo

I should NEVER have allowed Dr Saigal to inject Voluma in my tears through! What a BIG mistake!

It's clear as day that he is a horrible injector and using voluma under the eyes? Very few dr's can handle fillers under the eyes , very few. I've seen plastic surgeons with rave reviews for under eye fillers then they get a lot of business and end up having to dissolve filler from the new group of patients, know this gem for a fact . It's truly very difficult and you should only use restylane , nothing else , no matter what someone tells you . Let it rest for now . No lasers ! They do not help dark circjes , they give you imprints that make you look like you hsve massive wrinkles . Most dr's can't handle under eye fillers , be glad he didn't blind you or cause an occlusion . Just let it be , not worth it at all.

It's badly done . So sad ....

Just bcos Dr Saigon didn't have restyline so he substituted with Voluma !!! What kind of doctor is him ???? He is not fit to be in medical line . His concern is just making money

Totally agree with you! I still feel sooo bad with myself because I did not run away after he said that!
Then I needed to pay other doctor $300 to have removed the filler he injected...What a horrible experience!

Did you get the voluma dissolved? How did that work out for you? I’m getting mine dissolved

Yes, I did and like it! The downside is that I paid another Dr $300 to have it removed . Did you get yours under your eyes too?

I've seen some reviews of people getting Voluma in their tear troughs and getting good results, but with a questionable success rate. It's such a thick substance specifically designed to add structure to the mid-face--it's wild to me a medical professional would use it anywhere else.
Bummer you had a bad experience with this. The good news is you're still gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your other reviews too.
I know, right ? it was super WRONG that he injected Voluma under my eyes and I regret sooo much allowing an ignorant doctor to do that in my face. Even when I told him that most of the surgeons in this website recommend Restyline for that area, he said that Voluma was the right filler . It seems like he has not taken the “ fillers training” ! Bad , very bad ...
You look amazing ! It seems like your doc did a great job !
Congrats !
