Horrible Results Part 3
I am embarrassed, disappointed, aggravated, self conscious of my physical appearance and uncomfortable in my own skin! Attached to this post are my final results of my Tummy Tuck Revision with Liposuction of my Upper and Lower Abdomen, Flanks and Back with Dr. Andrew Freel at Associates In Plastic Surgery in Baton Rouge Louisiana. After speaking to Dr.Freel NUMEROUS times, going in to ALL post op appointments, following all post op instructions, voicing my concerns, disappointment and dissatisfaction of my end result this is what I look like....
?Part 2 of Horrible Results!
This is my continuation of my journey TT Revision w/lipo of abdomen, flanks and back. I previously posted pics of my pre op appearance. The pictures added to this post are of my results 4-6 weeks after my TT Revision w/lipo. You can visibly see that I still have scabs on my incision sites so I have not completely healed. These are the 1st post op pictures taken after my TT Revision. According to these 1st pictures taken I was excited, looking forward to my end result. I never wanted wash board abs. I only wanted realistic natural results with a slimmer waistline and a flattering stomach. One of my main concerns was the appearance of my belly button and scaring after my first TT procedure. Dr Freel and I discussed these issues prior to my TT Revision and these areas of concern were to be resolved with the TT Revision. Shortly after these pictures were taken I experienced a "popping sensation" in the top of my abdomen. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Freel and went in for a checkup, I asked if we should do a CT or any other test/scans to confirm that my stitches had not been compromised, but he informed me that the sensation was "probably" associated with the feeling of my abdominal muscles coming back. So I trusted his opinion and did not pursue the matter. As time went on I began to notice my upper abdomen began to protrude out and my lower abdomen did not. The pictures attached will show the 1st pictures taken post op and also the pictures taken a few months afterwards when my stomach begin to protrude after my revision...
Horrible Results Part 1
Beyond Horrible results is an understatement! Ok...starting from my initial procedure would be too much to cover so I'll start at the TT revision w/lipo and move backwards so I can share my story and try to paint a clear picture. I pray that no one else has to endure my experience after $20k+. I've debated telling my story from pure embarrassment because of the way my body looks now. I honestly wish it was the way I looked before I had my first TT. I'll post pics. You be the judge. My surgeon was Dr. Andrew Freel in Baton Rouge Louisiana for both my initial procedure as well as my revision procedure. You may ask why did I go to the same physician...well after my initial recovery and post op visits with him, he gave me reasons as to "why" my first surgery was not successful and "how " we could achieve the desired results so being that we discussed my concerns and he reassured me he understood and could accomplish my desired goals, I thought he could correct the problems. My first surgery (initial TT w/lipo) was $10k and he charged me another $10k for my second surgery (TT Revision w/lipo). So.....TT revision w/lipo recovery was tolerable. I went home the same day and I had no complications as far as pain or discomfort. I had TT W/Lipo of my upper and lower abdomen flanks and back. Some issues arose with my drain sites becoming irritated and painful red and swollen after about 2 -3 weeks or so, I went to the office and he pulled that drain and left the other in until the following week. So I am about 4-6 weeks post op, looking great AT THE TIME so he takes pictures of the results THUS FAR to show before and after results BUTTTT...I still had scabs on ALL the incision sites which you will see in the pictures. I was not nearly healed yet...
