Quick update: Glutes keep growing from heavy lifting, giving more harmony to my Minniti's silhouette :)

I never thought my butt would have the shape it has today - especially at 45 years old and none cosmetic surgery ever made in that area. I thought there was no way to grow a butt without an implant or cosmetic enhancement of some sort. I was wrong: there is the gym. The amount of time one needs to invest is insane, but it pays off.

I just wish though, that I let Dr. Minniti to transfer to my butt the small amount of fat he took from my 360 liposuction job. But I didn't - I was afraid a BBL would leave me with an ugly exorbitant ass. Well, little I did know, because first of all I did not have a lot of fat to transfer to start with, and second, Dr. Minniti BBL jobs are just as impeccable as everything else he does (if you have doubts, just check his IG lol).

So long story short, I did not let him transfer fat to my butt, then regretted it. HOWEVER, I put myself to work very seriously to my weight training routine and the results cannot be more explicit. For my surprise, my butt is indeed growing. I still think it would have looked nicer with Dr. Minniti's magic BBL, but I'm still pleasantly surprised with my workout results.

Now, besides having a very nice abdomen thanks to Dr. Minniti's magic hands, I also have a nice butt. It can't get better than that, ladies! I'm very happy!

It is possible to get abdominal definition after a tummy tuck!

Here is another update. This time to show that it is indeed possible to get abs after a tummy tuck. I had no idea if that was possible; I remember to have asked this to Dr. Minniti before my surgery and he said it always depend on the person's body - as always he was being cautious and down to earth, and I really appreciated his honesty.

What you see in the updated pictures is 2 months of work with my wonderful personal trainer + a high protein diet. I hope to get more definition, but that's what I've got so far. I'm over the moon. I even received compliments today at the gym from a woman I haven't talked before. She kindly approached and commented on my defined abs and back.

Thank you wonderful Dr. Minniti for giving my confidence back. You're a rock star!

When was your original TT date? When did you have a revision and why? You look great and such a motivator!

Hello love, thank you for your comment! In 2018 I had liposuction on the abdomen and love handles performed by another surgeon and that left my abdomen and waistline with a tone of loose skin and irregularities, letting me feeling very unattractive. The same Dr. suggested a mini tummy tuck to correct those results, which was performed in 2019. Long story short, results were not improved, and on top of it I was then left with a keloid scar on my tummy. Back then I became depressed and gained 10 lbs, in addition to have to deal with a malignant tumor in my face along with Covid in 2020. Fasting forward, in 2023 I set a goal to lose weight and lost 16 lbs before having my revision surgery with Dr. Minniti. Four months after my revision with Dr. Minniti I've started weight lifting training and a high protein diet. I've gained back 6 lbs from the 16 I had lost. But that seems to be the weight I need to be - I'm finally beyond happy with my figure. Dr. Minniti made all my dreams come true, and my personal trainer just added to it :)

Thank you for your response ❤️ you look great and your story is inspiring! I’m so glad you’re better and hope you have less depression. I’m 6m out from my TT w/MR and Breast reduction/lift yet feel like I need a revision as I still see my old stomach. I had a 3m set back because my breast t-zone incisions separated so healing has been a journey. I am now in serious mode of working out. I want to achieve like you did, sounds like you lost body fat and gained muscle!!! Again, thank you for sharing and while the Dr kicked you off, you did the work so pat yourself on your back! Be well!

Hello love, congrats on your surgeries and in your new working out routine - I promise will all pay off :)
If you are only 3 months post TT it may be too early to know if you will need a revision - did you discuss this with your doc? I'll stop by your profile to see if you have any updates to share. Thank you for your words of encouragement :)

FIVE months post op

Healing very well with no complaints whatsoever. Please note my vertical scar (over tummy scar) will need a tiny revision. Dr. Minniti took a look at it and said it's looking a bit fuzzy, and that he did not like it. The good news is that when I say a tiny revision it literally means tiny lol! He will do that in his office with local anesthesia (it's superficial skin so should take only a few minutes). I still feel my results are jaw dropping. Since my fourth month post op I've been going to the gym and handling heavy lifting with absolutely no pain nor any problems. A friend told me the other day that since my surgery I look like a different person. Time is just making it better - at this point, I feel I look better than my wish pictures lol!
