4 children and 2 c sections. I have been wanting this for a long time. I can deal with the stretch marks but he hanging skin and the permanent protruding tummy. I am so excited and so nervous. I’m going for a fully tummy tuck and a tiny bit of Lipo in my flanks. This surgery will completely change how I feel about my body. I’m always hiding my belly infront of my partner, so for me...this will be life changing.

Saw my sergeon a few days ago. Talked through my expectations and whether I still wanted to go ahead. Most definitely. He told me that my pubic area would be higher up my belly, so will look different, that he didn’t want to tighten my muscles to much as I’m short and may affect my breathing and that my skin may slack once I start to heal, I may need the vertical scar, my tummy may still prodrude in the middle a little as that’s where all my organs are and I may get dog ears as that was my worry. Ha, a whole lot of negatives. When I came home and told my other half with this silly nervous grin as he’s paying for it, we had a bit of an argument that I’d better be happy with it as it’s a lot of money and I made it sound so negative but I said the sergeon had to tell me to be realistic and these are things that might happen. I know I will be happy with the results. I am realistic that what I’m about to have done will improve my tummy massively even if my skin did still slack slightly. I’ve had 4 children. I’m not expecting a miracle but expecting to it to be well worth it.
Dr Armstrong was really nice and he will make my tummy lovely again. I’ll post some pics of my tummy soon.
