3 months already?

It is hard to believe that it has been three months since my surgery. I feel great. My incision had healed very nicely. I'm just waiting for it to fade, which I know will take time. I have noticed my BB scar is keloiding some, so I will have my surgeon take care of it in a couple weeks. I'm getting ready to start with a personal trainer, so I can start preparing for a bikini competition either this year or next. I have been maintaining my weight at around 130, but would like to drop 5-10 more lbs. I hope all who have had their surgery recently are healing well and those who are waiting, it will be time before you know it.

2 months already?

It is hard to believe, but it has been two months since I joined the FLATSIDE. I have resumed all normal activities. Which for me, means dancing, jogging and going to the gym and must not forget loving on my hubby. I feel great. It still hurts when I sneeze, but not as much as before. I still get a little swollen, but not bad. I love my shape and do does my hubby. I saw one of my co workers at the gym the other day and she saw me for the first time out of my scrubs. She complimented me on my body. Made me feel really good, because she is super fit and has done a bikini competition. Which is my goal this year.

I included some current pictures to show my progress. I work two blocks from my surgeon, so I popped in to say hi to the staff. It has been a month since the patient coordinator has seen me. She said I was looking great. I see the surgeon in a couple weeks for a follow up.

Happy Healing :) to those who are recovering and hang in there sisters who are waiting for your turn.

Feeling Sexy!!

I am now 6 weeks post-op. Woohoo!! That means I can resume all normal activities. I saw my surgeon at 5 weeks. He said all is looking really good. Although I did inform him I tried jogging and went to hula too. I was suppose to wait one more week. OOPS :/ I told him it felt good and I wore my binder for support. He asked me to hold off on anything strenuous for one more week, so I did. I went back to hula this week and it feels good to stretch and get my abs moving. I also did a 5k with my mom today, sort of. She is in Texas and I'm in California. She did a "Stud Run" for habitat for humanity. I did it for moral support.

I have also been shopping for smaller clothing. I found two cute dresses that make me feel small and sexy. ;) My hubby likes them a lot. Since the beginning of my surgery journeys I am down from size 10 pants to size 4. Yippee!

I previously had breast reduction done by Dr. MacKenzie last year. I was so pleased with his work and the kindness of his staff that I had to go back to him for my tummy tuck. He is so informative and never has a problem with me coming in with a huge list of questions. If I hear of anyone interested in some firm of cosmetic procedure, he is the first person I would refer them too. If I choose to have anything else done. I will always return to him. My life has been blessed by him and his staff.
