I have hated my breasts since I started to develop. I always wondered why they were so pointy and wanted them to be softer like my older neighbor and stepmom (both probably around a D cup) LOL. I didn't care who wanted these so-called "perky" breasts - I wanted mine softer!! They also flare outwards and also kind of scoop up. After years (okay, HALF my life now), I have decided to do it. Reasons I haven;t done it in the past were because of money or basically work - I carry 40lbs of stuff with me early everyday for work and also live in an NYC walk-up, so taking 6 weeks off from that (I live alone and am single) was not possible. Until now... :)

Consultation day!

I saw Dr. A for a consult back in the fall but wanted to have another more recent one. I had a cyst in my breast and some other issues last year including an infection so I wanted to be sure everything was clear and all behind me.

You know that feeling when "you know"? Maybe it was the moment that you fell in love with your spouse, or some other monumental event. This week, that feeling hit me. And I was never more sure that this is what I wanted to do and that Dr. A was going to be the one to perform it for me. Cheesy but true. I practically ran into her office I was so excited. I have wanted to have this done for officially half of my life, and I've never been so sure about a decision!

After lots of talking (she remembered me and my breast journey) we settled on a size. I learned that I am nearly 100cc's smaller on one side - didn't realize the difference was that big!

My goal is to balance out my hips and do a size that looks "as natural as humanly possible". I went in not having a specific cup size in mind nor cc size in mind, and simply asked her what she recommended for my breast tissue, shape, and body type.

We settled on silicone 200cc's on my left breast, and 300 on my right. Both in a bra and in a tank I loved how it felt and looked and didn't feel like at that size people would stare at me on the street. I knew that I had arrived at my perfect size.

As you can see in my photos, my breasts flare out a significant amount, so we are going to remedy that a lot by placing the implants a little further 'out' to move the nipples a little closer to the center. Sorry for my lack of proper medical terminology :-)

Dr. A said doing that will give me a little more side boob but I'm okay with that. Also she recommends a moderate profile, something with a larger base which will correct my shape misfortune. Lol.

We picked a date about three months from now and I paid my deposit-I wish it would come already, I am so so excited!
